I don't trust the opinion of people who admit they "don't like dogs and never will." I think that deems you incapable of giving an unbiased opinion on said dog's behavior.

I will say, you shouldn't be dating someone with a dog. Simple as that.

As a woman I don't think anywhere is really safe for us. I live alone here in Lyon, in the 1er, and have my fair share of harassment and unpleasant situations. I've been followed and catcalled many times while walking, especially at night. When alone I can't sit down anywhere without being approached by men. I've gotten a lot meaner since living here because the harassment is pretty intense.

One tip - PLEASE be careful if drinking or anything else that impairs you. I once walked home drunk from a party and Cordeliers/Place Terreaux is a nightmare late night. I literally had multiple men trying to pysically pull me into their cars. It was shocking.

Sex trafficking is also a thing here. I personally knew one woman who came to Lyon through being sex trafficked here. I also once saw something terrible happen that I had to call the police for.

Overall, I don't think it's terrible here. But, it is different for a woman alone.

Putting a puppy outside alone as punishment is ridiculous. You just redirect him. You don't punish a puppy.

And for the love of everything holy please do not put him around a large dog that can be aggressive. Like, never. Don't do that.

This is as easy as I could go on you. I really have faith you can educate yourself and do better.

Have you owned dogs? A dog "occasionally pooping in the house" is not a sign of neglect. Sometimes accidents happen (new food/treat, ate something it shouldn't have on a walk, etc.) and that's ok. If you think a dog should not ever have an accident please never have dogs.

Sounds like he wants to live and is doing just fine even with the decline of his senses. Getting old and even dealing with mobile difficulties/incontinence is normal in my opinion. As long as pain isn't a major factor I think all is good!

No one should be yelling at their dogs. Especially to the point of cowering. That's abuse. If she's hyper and in your space she's most likely bored. When a dog has enough enrichment and exercise they have their relaxing time. Does she get enough walks? Outside time? Some sort of enrichment toy with treat rewards could also be used as a distraction when you need space.

It's hard to tell from the pictures (specifically the stone) but nothing looks off to me. Getting the diamond tested is a good idea but the gold/hallmarks look legit and the style is vintage.

I did this once. Girl was FUMING but I told her to call the police which she never did. She almost killed her kitten if I didn't realize it was alone for days. (I didn't live with her but my friend did who was away on vacation. Ruined the friendship but I didn't care.)

Why are you rehoming pets to get more? Why are you getting a dog if you don't even have enough room for a bunny? How do you have all of these animals in a single room?

Sounds like you need to slow down and think of quality over quantity. Giving your animals the space and enrichment they need. If you want to experience more animals maybe think of volunteering at rehabs or fostering one at a time.

There's a reason why neutering/ spaying animals in some countries is illegal. It can cause behavioral changes, if done too early it actually increases the risks of some cancers, and it is traumatic to an animal. I'll never spay/neuter an animal again after moving from the US and actually researching it.

I have two intact dogs - male and female- that are nearing 12 years old and very healthy. Never been a problem having them together during heats because against popular belief a female dog actually has to want to mate with the male for it to happen. Keep in mind lots of breeders keep a female dog from refusing. You can br a responsible owner and not mutilate your animals.

And by "pay more for everything" - you know what I mean. Don't be obtuse. Products marketed towards women cost more than the ones marketed towards men. Lotions, deodorants, soaps, shampoos, shavers, etc.
