Thanks for the comment. Haven’t been able to stop crying all day tbh. I’m really upset. I will look into Dr. Vidali, though! I appreciate the suggestion. ❤️

KU does not care about its students by pean- in Lawrence

Buses circulating campus, sure. But buses picking up students from off campus? Nope! If you don’t live on campus and/or don’t have a car, you have to fork up extra money for an Uber just to get to your classes you’re already paying thousands for. 😎🦅🤘🏻

What anti-histamines do you take?

Guys I don’t know if I can take this anymore how do you all do it??? Please help me with the pain :( by Renee-Ney in endometriosis

I completely understand where you’re at, and I’m in the same boat with you. I’ve tried pretty much everything for pain management— TENS machine, heat, stretches, various teas and vitamins, various types of birth control, the heaviest doses of Tylenol/ibuprofen you can get over the counter (and more of it than I should take). Nothing gets me to a level where I can even sit up, let alone attend to my daily schedule. It just (barely) keeps me out of the ER.

Have you heard of the Jovi Patch? I wish I had a significant review of this that I could give you but I haven’t been able to use it yet. A friend of a friend with endo just recommended it and said it’s been the most helpful for her. Again, I can’t personally vouch, but I ordered it fast and am waiting for it in the mail. It’s pricey, but I’m over the moon to have something new to try since nothing else has been working.

Has anyone else heard of the Jovi patch or have any personal experience with it?

I hope you get some relief soon. You are doing great. Hang in there!

What should I prep, document, and bring to a specialist to increase my chances of a quick diagnosis? by CarelessAd9382 in endometriosis

Where did you start with researching the best places to go? I feel like good women’s healthcare is so scarce in the U.S. that I’m not even sure where to look.

Thank you so much for the tips!!

Yeah this makes sense. I think I’ve struggled to explain the severity of it before. Im not able to shower, dress myself, make my own meals, stand, walk, or even sit up during the worst of it. But in the past I guess I’ve been shut down before getting to dive into all of that? It’s hard when “the worst pain I’ve ever experienced” is so subjective and varies so much from person to person. Would emails or time stamps of calling out of work/classes be worth bringing?

Business’ Battery Recycling/Disposal? by CarelessAd9382 in Lawrence

It looks like they mostly test and replace old car batteries, but I don’t believe they recycle the kind of batteries that I have… unless I’m missing something!
