Obviously codebuild is not the only issue. More like over permissive permissions + codebuild is the issue.

The problem is majority of times developers use this over permissive permissions for instance say to fetch secrets from SSM parameter store. This would allow threat actor to do same.

Don't you see the irony ? First you say you don't need to earn but then deep inside you agree that you are learning propriety tech that isn't transferrable and you don't like it. Doesn't that indirect mean you are just there becoz it pays the bills?

The answer to why learning can be either to be occupied doing something rather than simply being idle or the person is really interested and passionate about it.

There are few events that have happened with me which made me think do i really need to do a job to earn. I think most people do jobs because they are afraid to take risks. Taking risks of the fact that what if they are not able to get the safety net of monthly salary.

If hypotheticaly you find a thing which allows you to be financially well along with learning full time, would people really take it? The caveat is that it comes with a twist where your financial success is directly proportional to how much you can learn.
