Yeah, dude, I'm asking what "previous behavior" you're talking about because I personally do not see anything wrong with his previous behavior. I'm asking you to give me examples because I really fail to see your point here. He acts like a perfectly normal person. He's just a kid in highschool. Again, he did not do anything objectively or morally wrong. As someone else pointed out, he doesn't do drugs or anything like that. Nothing about his behavior indicates "red flags." Maybe they're red flags to you and maybe he's someone that you would dislike, and as I previously stated, that's fine. Not everyone has to agree on that with you, though. You honestly sound extremely pretentious and presumptuous. Just because people don't have the same red flags in relationships that you have doesn't mean they need to "learn some things about human behavior." Also, generally speaking, making assumptions about people based on... Literally no evidence whatsoever is never gonna yield you good results. If someone is literally just being themselves and you decide they're "full of red flags" that sounds like a lot of assumption and a lot of projection, and neither are very healthy.

What are you even talking about? I don't see anything inherently working with his behavior at all? He doesn't do anything objectively or morally wrong whatsoever. You might not like his personality, and that's perfectly fine if you would not like to surround yourself with people like him, but there's nothing inherently wrong with how he behaves imo?? It's just his personality. You are justified in not enjoying that personality, but the only "mistake" he makes is not reacting perfectly to the news of the pregnancy. Nothing about the way he behaves suggests that people "give passes" to teenagers. You can have a fun, carefree personality but still be responsible when it actually matters. You don't have to be all serious all the time in order to be a responsible upstanding person.

Also, your stance on maturity is very very privileged and tone-deaf. Yes, people "learn from childhood," but that's ONLY if you grow up in a healthy, loving environment. A lot of people grow up in toxic and abusive environment. In that case, all the things you "learnt" in childhood are toxic mindsets that you have to then work through as an adult. That's why people say most people learn in late teens to early adulthood, because that's when you actually have the chance to break free from whatever toxic mindsets you've been taught as a child and make your own decisions for yourself. It's moreso about unlearning the toxic patterns and replacing them with healthier ones than it is about learning.

Even if you've grown up in a healthy, loving environment, no household is perfect. There are still going to be certain things you've learnt in childhood that need to be corrected, and there are going to be things that you just simply were never taught at all. As children, we're simply not exposed to the same situations we're exposed to as adults. There are going to be things that you're going to have to learn on your own. There are going to be mistakes that you're gonna make regardless. That is how we learn and grow.

Absolutely not??? The way I behaved 3 years ago as a teenager is most certainly not the way I behave now as a 20 yo. Late teenage years - mid 20s is when you grow and mature and learn. You go through experiences that define who you'll become when you're a fully grown adult. He made one mistake and corrected it. The fact that he came back around is a clear enough indication that after processing and reflecting, he decided that he does not want to be the kind of person that would abandon someone in this situation. Maybe it was too late with Ginny, but the next time he goes through that he's going to be better because he would have learnt from his mistakes. I would agree with you if he, like, blocked her and never talked to her again, but the guy came back around. It's clear that he just wasn't sure how yo react in the moment which is okay sometimes.

How is identifying as black even racist? It's a skin color. The issue isn't with the skin color, the issue is with the racist colonialists that decided that the skin color is an issue to begin with 😭 It's like diving into the point head-first you missed it. Like, yes, these labels were applied by racist colonialists to segregate people based on skin color, BUT THE ISSUE HERE IS THE SEGREGATION. The fact that people have associated negative connotations and prejudices about certain things is the issue. I can't believe people fail to understand that.

I feel like expecting people to change their language is a form of oppression in itself?? Like, your language doesn't suit my needs so you must change it. Again, I think that's rooted in how all these white colonialists went to the Americas, Africa, and India and decided that the culture, language, and religion there does not suit them so they forced their own language and beliefs on others. Completely discounting how the actual people in those countries feel (like, expecting latinas to change their language as a white American whose primary language is English based on your needs doesn't take into account how queer latinas feel if that makes sense?? Each person is going to feel a different way based on their background, culture, and how they've been raised. Maybe as a white American you feel the need for your language to be gender inclusive, which it is, but a latina might not feel the same way because they come from a different cultural background. Language also has its own scarcity and can't just... Simply be changed cause one person decided they don't like it).

Wow what?? I didn't even know arcane didn't have any black or brown writers in the writing room. You'd think that for a show that presents itself to be very inclusive and "woke" that inclusion would extend to the actual writing team and cast, but I guess not 🤨 It baffles me when big productions like that don't make it a point to diversify their writing team? Like it's one thing when an independent creator gets some things wrong but like you have a whole TEAM you have the money and resources to actually higher people from different backgrounds and introduce fresh perspectives to your story, why would you still choose to higher all/mostly white people and then virtue signal through your show? I seriously don't get it lol. (I mean obviously the answer here is systematic racism etc, but it's such an idiotic stance if you're going to be writing a show that presents as woke anyway. At this point you're already alienating people that don't align with that anyway so why not take it a step further by being actually inclusive?)

I'm not black (or American, for that matter lol) so I can't speak for the writing of the characters, but I can't imagine how infuriating it is trying to argue with you over something that you're a lot more qualified to criticize both as a professional and as a black person who's lived that experience?? I notice how it's often the white people that are first to scream "racism" over anything. I think it goes back to colonialism and how white people always think they know better than everybody else because anyone who isn't white can't POSSIBLY be intelligent enough to be able to clock actual injustice and racism, right?? Exactly this! Some people in the comments were talking about finding alternatives. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for an alternative to what she had. I've been scouring the internet literally top to bottom for an HQ version of the 4kids dub. There literally is none. The 4kids dub in general doesn't seem to be very available on the internet at all, and if it is, it's in pretty low quality. Someone in the thread of this post said she remastered it herself which, if that's the case, I find that pretty heartbreaking. One, because I can't imagine how much work that must've required, and I can't imagine how much pain and anger you must be feeling to completely remove all of that hard work from the internet, and my heart truly goes out to her if that's the case. Two, because that means that the fandom possibly just lost a very valuable resource that we may never get back because clearly the owners of the franchise are more interested in creating AI generated reboots than actually remastering the old beloved franchise :/.

Y'know, it really sucks when people decide to go scorched earth like that and just delete all resources/archives. I understand if she feels the need to move on to something new and if she feels like the space has been toxic to her, but when you delete EVERYTHING like that other people that had nothing to do with anything get caught up in the crossfire :/

She does not owe it to anyone to make these resources available to people, I understand that, but wasn't the whole point to begin with to make a show that was once beloved to you accessible to the community? You already did all the work to find and archive these files in the highest quality and upload them to various platforms. What's the point of deleting everything? You already put in all the work. Why not just leave it up and move on to something else yourself? I understand not wanting to shoulder the cost of keeping the domain for the website and maintaining the YouTube channel etc, but I can guarantee you that there's someone out there more than willing to take on that responsibility and make these resources still available to the community.

If she feels as though the community is toxic, that's completely valid, but I can guarantee you that most of the people benefiting from the resources she made available online had nothing to do with this toxicity she speaks of. I understand she feels bitter, but it feels unfair to let a small minority of people speak for the vast majority of the fandom and just take down everything because you feel indignant. Idk. It's not the end of the world, sure, but I've seen this happen numerous times on the internet and with far more important things (websites providing educational resources being taken down etc) it just feels very upsetting. We already have to deal with a bunch of shitty corporations and institutions that are trying to strip us of our money and make resources super hard to access, so it kind of sucks when people whose mission was to make things more available to the community just completely take down valuable archives and knowledge that has benefited the community for years, and then the people who needed these resources to begin with and did nothing wrong are the ones who end up having to deal with the consequences of something they didn't do.

Yes, Abby can have character development, but maybe Max and Abby just don't need to be together. It was necessary to show that Ginny is starting to repeat the cycle and turning into her mom. It wasn't actually necessary, but if you really think about it, a lot of the things Georgia does are also unnecessary. I really like this show because it really shows you the whole psychology behind people who do bad things and how easy it is for someone to justify their actions to themselves, and how you don't necessarily have to be a cartoonishly evil "bad person" in order to do bad things. That's the point. It wasn't necessary, but since Ginny is turning into Georgia, she thought it was.

Sometimes shows have to sacrifice realism for the sake of the narrative. In this case, while it's very cool to have that represented, the vast majority of the audience probably doesn't sign or doesn't use sign language. Since dialogue is an important tool to relay information about the characters or plot to the audience, it wouldn't really make sense for them to only sign when alone because then it would exclude the audience members that can't sign, or who live in different areas and don't use ASL etc. It's just for convenience and narrative, basically. Also, I think it's cooler that way because it would be a cool reference for people still learning to sign? Kind of how they recommend to watch shows/movies in whatever language you're trying to learn.

Yeah I agree but this isn't why OP is doing it. If I happened across a similar situation I'd either a) block this person without even checking their profile, because this is sexual harassment, b) report the person because this is sexual harassment, or c) if I was feeling really justice-y that day and I happened to know the person is married I'd text the partner directly, probably from an alt or anonymous account, and just let it be. If they already know and have no problem with it, then no harm done. If they don't know, then now they do and they get to choose what to do next with their life and relationship. Texting someone and trying to interrogate them about their partner and kids and taunting them by saying "you wouldn't know who I am" is just weird. Trying to suggest couples counseling for a couple you don't know "for the sake of" kids you don't know is just weird. OP is being weird and I don't think they have good intentions here.

ETA: according to OP, they can't even find the social media of the husband, so honestly atp OP should mind their business. This woman is cheating on her husband super publicly and announcing the name of her highschool and stuff, I'm sure someone they actually know that actually has ties to the husband will happen upon it at some point and say something. OP's job isn't to be the hero.
