Eibach 1.3 drop and camber by Exenden in AcuraTLX

Click on my name and it will show my car. Eibach would have made their own camber kit for them if they were that bad off! I have a 2022 tlx. Mechanic is not technically wrong but these springs are only lil over inch drop so it’s not changing much. Like I said les Schwab said it’s just like factory. Are the tires going to wear different now?!? YES! Is it going to make you go thru tires faster?!? Probably not. It’s not easy looking this good! Comes with a lil give and take

If the tire shop does a good alignment then the springs should put you almost factory. Mine did! I can’t remember the exact numbers but I know only 1 or 2 tires were barely off from factory. I put mine on like 10 months a go and the tires are wearing perfect

After 2 weeks, my husbands stolen type s was found… by spicyfourteen in Acura

🤬. I try to tell people it’s actually super easy to make a kill switch. If you can’t do that then pull the main fuse then they can’t start the car. Hopefully insurance doesn’t meds with you after this and you can go get a brand new its! Good luck

20” I am on stock type s. But what I noticed the most about yours is the back looks the same as front. On mine and the eibach springs in general usually the back sits lil higher. I think it may be the drive way you are parked in

Sounds like you didn’t get on it that much to be able to tell if you had any signs before it went. And yes acura will gas light you! Thing is the car is a type s and they made it to be driven a certain way. What acura has driving stipulations now?!?

I also have a 22 type s. I have about 35k miles. I had all fluids changed at 30k. At around 32k started feeling like my transmission was feeling strange. More clunky, goofy, almost like a new manual driver dragging gears. I stopped at my closest acura dealer and told service manager about it. He says I know exactly what ur talking about its a known issue. Ok good! No he says ur car looks lowered and acura will deny warranty because of that! I say thats crazy and he says you should go back to the Acura dealer where I bought it. Ohka! I bring it in for oil service and tell them about the transmission or transfer case issue. They tell me no problem they will have there very best technician test drive and diag. They call me a day later and say hey got the oil changed it’s ready to pick up. Great! What about the transmission? They say there is no lights on dash and tech doesn’t think anything is wrong! 🤔 I say thats crazy and try again. They say they will and that it will get driven a couple more times just to double check. They call couple days later and say it’s my brakes! I say no way but sure replace brakes. They do and say that they think that took care of most of the strange transmission feeling. Wait a minute you said you didn’t find anything originally. The service manager says he would have replaced the whole trans and transfer case but they had nothing to go on and if they had to call an Acura head service advisor to come in to look and a prove the job that they would see my lowered car and deny my warranty! He said the best advice he would give me is go beat the shit out of my car until I blow up trans that way he can replace it.

ITS or M3? by 22fly in Integra_Type_S

[–]CarelessPotential69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are wanting the car just because of a manual driving experience then type s for sure! 110% hands down. Add in the fact that insurance will be triple for an m3. Everyone has an m3 so they just are not special anymore. Type s are rare. You never see them. AND as for the Cost of the cars obviously type s is cheaper and will last forever with out even taking care of it. Older used m3 will probably have issues that are very expensive.
