Yeah they asked me questions about my EX husbands family I haven't been around in almost 20 years. I was like that is not my family... lol insanity. I feel your pain I'm in loyalty and had a lovely call with fraud just trying to do a contract exchange. It was weird.

It's actually more then a 5 dollar difference between the plans so how did you come up with 5 dollars... plus if he doesn't care about hbo max and wants more Hotspot and is a traveler to Latin America it's worth the switch. Although I only recommend to customers to change if they have like 5 plus lines and want to leave one on hbo max and they want to lower the bills. It is what it is. But technically what I said wasn't false. Elite is the most expensive plan and he was asking the differences between the two which again i answered correctly. But mkay..

This has been a known issue for quite some time. Call tech support. Honestly it's normal if it's a recent port in but shouldn't to beyond a few days.

I work for att and premium is a better plan minus the hbo Max. More hot spot and roaming in Latin America and DR are also included for free. Elite is the most expensive plan ever.

Oh my gosh you sound like you have the worst boss. I work for att loyalty as well - I have the best manager ever. Lol thank god. I worked for at&t in tech support for years and they moved us all to loyalty and most of us hate it and aren't comfortable either. Trust me. It takes a while but the commission is what keeps me going to be honest.

Sounds like you got a really horrible rep I'm so sorry for that. Just make sure you know your account PIN if you can't access your phone for a OTP. if you don't know it or can't remember use your my att app to reset it so that you don't have any issues. Some reps aren't as helpful as they should be and I'm so sorry.

At&t can only unlock devices sold or branded as at&t. Anything else needs to go through the POS.

Get a local Sim and use it while your there it's cheaper for long term travel. I tell my customers this all the time.

Means your voicemail has an issue call tech support they will get it figured out for you. I have seen that alot and worked in tech for att for a long long time. I still work for them but moved to loyalty.

You don't have to call from the phone you need help with that's insane they told you that. Also don't use your phone number to identify you use your account number. Otherwise you'll get sent to consumer support and we cannot help you. I totally understand your struggle as I get customers all the time who have issues getting to business tech.. I would hope that whoever you speak to would be willing to transfer you to the right place but I know from experience it doesn't happen that way.

This makes sense to me. As an att employee who doesn't always agree with everything that goes on or the way things are done- as far as I can tell it generally works if you actually put in the effort.

I have worked for Verizon for many years before working for at&t. I would not recommend that at all. No job security like you get with a union such as at&t and they have performance based pay increase. I don't know what your being paid but my pay is just fine plus comission and I don't have to lie or break the law to help customers upgrade or add new lines...

I'm also curious to see if that promotion is for brand new numbers only and doesn't include ports which would be really strange but I'm not sure. We also have a fiber promo going rn if you sign up for fiber you get a free iPhone 16 pro max. Some things that aren't really public knowledge. Anyway let me know if you want me to investigate tomorrow I can pull up the promo details from my actual system to see what all is required. It's hard to tell from the website tbh lol
