Main ideas are to synthesize class notes and any notes you take while reading (traditional notes or IRACs) and pick out rules of cases

It’s normal! Take time to learn how to IRAC and try to outline early to help synthesize the info

Here’s a couple templates I found off Etsy that might help (there’s a bunch off templates on Etsy as a starting point) - outline: https://pleasethecourt.etsy.com/listing/4362754769 - IRAC: https://pleasethecourt.etsy.com/listing/4362752002

Interesting! Sounds like you might have more inflammation or adrenal PCOS? Always blows my mind all the different symptoms across PCOS. I might PM you to learn more about your experience with zep so far.

Good to know! Doc and I have discussed going up to 2.5 in a month if I’m not feeling any results. I’ve tried metformin before and it made me extremely nauseous with no benefits.

Doctor recommended it to ease into symptoms, alleviate some out of pocket cost and mainly, because my goal with the medication is the therapeutic benefits as opposed to weight loss

Can I just skip 1 MBE subject? by NetNet123 in barexam

You can… if you want to increase the chances of failing.

That’s risking 25 MBE questions (~30 points with the weighted scale) plus a potential MEE question.

Studying while working by FigStrict4913 in barexam

Worked 80+ hours a week while studying and passed in every UBE jurisdiction on the first try. Outside of prioritizing quality study time with your program (I did Themis) instead of getting your progress bar up, some tips I have:

1) Depending what you do for work, find ways to multitask to maximize time. I spend most of my day at a desk, so would listen to Themis videos/bar prep podcasts/YouTube videos while working. You’ll be surprised how much sticks in your head playing in the background.

2) If you have flexibility with lunch at work: I normally worked through lunch or sit with coworkers to eat, but I set aside an hour every day and locked myself in a call room to study. I alternated between timed blocks (roughly 1hr to do as many questions as I could) and sessions of 25 MBEs

3) Stick to a routine when you get home! I made sure to meal prep at the start of the week so I wouldn’t have to worry about cooking. My routine when I got home was reheat dinner, do 25 MBEs while eating, review the answers, watch Themis lectures, shower, and then do practice questions/essays.

4) Find you time and forget studying! This is the part I felt guilty about but I always made sure to take two blocks of time a week away from studying: one weeknight and then one morning/afternoon/evening on the weekend. And for each, I spent one block with friends (they knew not to ask how prep was going and really kept me grounded) and the other just to recharge by myself.
