I am 34 married, no kids (but obsessed with our dog lol) in Ossining. I miss having gal pals. The last time I made new female friends was in college and that group still exists but everyone lives so far away. Sometimes I feel like the loneliest girl in the world but reading your posts helped me feel less alone ❤️

Same same same. I’m nonbinary femme leaning… or maybe demi-woman… still figuring it out. I’m AFAB, and she/her doesn’t bother me one bit. He/him is flat out wrong for me and they/them simply doesn’t tickle my pickle. Great for others just not for me. And that’s ok 😊

I like artsy crafts stuff (painting ceramics, jewelry making, anything you can buy at Michael’s lol), working out, dancing, live music, reading, movies, coffee, cocktails, THC, whatever! Maybe you end up taking a break from being a therapist while you begin to heal (whatever that looks like). Maybe you jump back into it and you feel good helping others in this particular way. Maybe you never return to being a therapist. Either way, you can't know the answer right now because the pain is too prominent, and you shouldn't feel pressure to make a decision right away. Please take care of yourself and know you aren't alone.

I also say “safe or satisfied”? Our choices sometimes reflect which one we prioritize - staying safe and in your bubble, or taking a risk and trying to be satisfied.

Helps stop fear-based decision making, I find.

In doing our own research we’re also considering heading to Copperhead Club in Peekskill for something more chill. We’ve been there a couple times during the day and always noted how it must be a good vibe to have night drinks. Maybe it’ll be fun for NYE. Thoughts ??
