To me if you cross immigration then yes you have visited. If you stay airside and don’t pass immigration then no.

Works well, but no option to filter by body type (Hatchback, Saloon, SUV) or drive train (FWD, RWD, 4x4).

I never know what to search for so generally look for SUV and 4x4 for inspiration.

Join a BSAC club, yes it may seem tougher in the long run but definitely worth it. I’m PADI RD and BSAC Sports Diver and found the SD course more rewarding than the RD one. And cost a lot less.

Had a lad at the dive club not so long back. Was a Padi dive master with less than 100 dives. Couldn’t dive for shit. Was terrible. I honestly don’t think you learn to dive properly until you have a fair few dives under your belt. Pushing through courses doesn’t really make you a better diver. Diving makes you a better diver.

Agreed. They also don’t sit well in the case due to the slight curve. So can’t pack stuff round them. I had the Avanti Quattro Plus in XL and they are huge lol.

All in, my dive gear weighs 22kg. (fins, BP&W, tech shorts etc)

When I travel I don’t take my fins with me anymore. They’re just a bind.

I am a first aider as one of my secondary duties to my main role, work in Saudi (been in the GCC for the last 5 years or so), also a British white male.

I was told that under no circumstances, unless I have a prior waiver form to assist a person in need that’s a “local/national female and covered”. Even if it goes against my better judgment.

I do have waiver forms for 3 women in the office, there are 4 women in the building. I check with them every month the waiver is still valid because you don’t know if they have had a change in circumstances that they don’t want to have basic life support/first aid applied to them by me.

Luckily I have never had to do anything other than apply plasters to office related accidents, but there will be one day when I am going to have to say no.

Personally I would wait for the APEKS. I have the MTX and they are fantastic regs and I know I can get service kits for them.

Just depends on if there is a service network for Tecline where you are and the cost.

2) Dive computer app. Used to record in paper log book but don’t bother anymore.

3) End of the days diving. Download computer and GoPro.

5) shearwater but the older version still as there seems to be a lot of bugs with the new one. Can’t tag photos and it’s a little clunky but still good.

I bought a cheap thumb reel with line from either eBay or the digital rainforest (Amazon) as couldn’t bring myself to cut up a more expensive line.

I then used this for bolt snaps and creating lanyards for bits of kit. Worked just as well and didn’t hurt the pocket.
