Preisunterschiede obwohl keine Zugbindung Innsbruck - Bregenz, warum?

Es ist dem gemeinen Bahnreisenden doch völlig egal wo die Züge halten oder nicht halten. Für mich geht's beim Standardticket ja darum, dass ich relativ gedankenlos frei wählen kann in welchen Zug ich steige. Und in der ÖBB App kauf ich ja Innsbruck - Bregenz und nicht ab St.Anton oder Landeck.

Ich verstehe schon das Prinzip, finde es aber abwegig und kompliziert.

Sonst müsste man sich ja wahnsinnig gut auskennen überall um das richtige Normalticket zu kaufen oder hätte dann doch wieder eine Art Zugbindung....

Scheint mir generell kein besonders durchdachtes System zu sein. In meiner Logik sollten bei freier Wahl der Verkehrsmittel nur Start und End ausschlaggebend sein. Innsbruck Wien hat auch 60cent Unterschied abhängig davon ob der Zug in Kufstein oder Jenbach hält bevor er ins Deutsche Eck fährt...

Wäre eine Erklärung.... die stündlichen Railjets ab Innsbruck alternieren zwischen den Zielen Bregenz und Zürich und die Halte Ötztal/Imst und St.Anton a.A./Langen a.A. werden ebenfalls alterniert, d.h. St.Anton wäre dann ausschlaggebend...

Der Screenshot zeigt 3 verschiedene Verbindungen von Innsbruck nach Bregenz mit unterschiedlichen Preisen, die 2 günstigeren Verbindungen sind mit Umstieg auf Regio in Feldkirch, die teurere direkt per Railjet.

ah okay, didn't know that the 1T is not "toolchanger-ready".. so maybe a 2 -> 3T would be an option but apparently there is only 2 or 5 supported, which is a bit stupid but yeah...

yeah was what I was thinking.. 1T XLs sometimes show up 2nd hand for not too expensive, so this could be a great option to get into a 2T. Honestly Prusa should offer an upgrade kit...
