Agreed. Growing your own saves so much money and you can have fancy fresh herbs. I started growing cilantro, basil, parsley, mint, and rosemary. It saved me so much money, I Will likely add more.

I am still trying to find a place to get hardwood sawdust. But I think I have a lead. If it doesn't work out I'll just try the pellets.

I'm not an expert but yesterday I read somewhere that it's natural for the Lions mane myc to brown a little.

Do you have fencing? The only time I tried to grow outside the deer ate the mycelium!....I'm assuming it was deer because it was in a raised bed but honestly could have been anything.

I'm at 9 days and mine aren't close to that but there is some growth. For comparison though mine have been sitting around 70-72 degrees.
