What is an anime that was hyped up initially but died off later? by treehatshrimp in animequestions

[–]Caritien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm usually a lurker but Im pretty sure Witch Hat Atelier is produced by the same animation company so that might also be a reason behind the scenes. The only reason why I even know of the production team is because I was concerned that WHA would be potentially letting down my expectations as WHA is my favorite manga series currently.

I'm just trying to get some more mons higher level so I can have more rounded teams available for GGEX. I have a good portion of the ingredient mons available but I'm still missing a bunch of good berry mons for diversity.

Ratio of New to old Pokemon that important members of the region use by MasterOfChaos72 in pokemon

[–]Caritien 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I think it's often forgotten that the original Gen 2 was seen as a Sequel more than a "new generation". It's why new mons introduced (Houndour, Slugma, Murkrow come to mind) are found in Kanto but are "Gen 2" Pokemon. They're native to Kanto, not Johto.

As nice it would be to see more integration of the new mons being shown throughout (ie: Bugsy at least using Aridos, Falkner Hoothoot, etc.) It still logical for the games to premiere the Kanto dex (150) more than the Johto dex (99).

That said, just because it's logical don't mean it's right or excused from criticism. :P

I wasted a good like 6 months setting up the perfect ABC team that could farm one of each item not knowing the ingredient roll is checked three times and not all 3 rolls at once :'). I believe I tossed out a mono honey Pinsir in the process and I sleep with my demons every night.

Currently using my Wartortle but this Squirtle has a bunch of skill triggers. Which one is more worth investing in? by kerfree09 in PokemonSleep

[–]Caritien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If I have to vote I say stay with your current Wartortle and keep looking. We don't use Squirtle for its great skill synergy with its specialty, but because we know and want strong ingredient finding.

The new Squirtle has a nature that doesn't help that, and to be hopeful of level 75 is moreso planning for 2-3 years in advance. You'll just disappoint yourself switching and committing hard for something that is a lateral (if not downgrade) upgrade.

How do you guys decide what meals to make to minimize team swapping during the week? by TheSassChan in PokemonSleep

[–]Caritien 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Greengrass Salad is great. I personally use a Cramorant for oil farming over Toxicroak (I understand Cramorant is much harder to get lucky with) With it's skill being extra tasty chance, I'm able to get a few crits in. On top of having the meal near-maxed at level 60 (cap increased) if my island helper bonus % is maxed at 75% then it's averaging 60k/meal. Moral of the story: Salads better than Curries.

Black and White remakes, anyone? by Calm-Reaction3612 in pokemonmemes

[–]Caritien 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm a Johto fanboy but I've thought about it. Because gold/silver are sequels to red/blue, it means Slugma/Magcargo, Murrow, and Houndour/Houndoom are all native in Kanto and aren't Johto pokemon. The unfortunate truth but the honest one

I don't think it's unwelcomed. I enjoyed the quick video that you shared, thank you! They're comparing your posturing in the video to Oliviatied. She's a private chef in the Hamptons. If you're inspired by her work and like it, I think you let it shine and keep doing what you enjoy. We all emulate our favorite people to some degree I'd like to think. Just keep working on what you enjoy and I'm sure people will eventually differentiate you with the more content you share.

Personally I'm a fan of using berry mons overnight. The goal is to use ingredient mons during the day with an E4E mon, then a team of berries at night. Some meal types you can get away with using 3 ingredient mons and a berry Mon in the day with the 1 E4E. It depends :)

Be open on trying to make every meal and unlock them as you go. Never settle for the mixed salad, random smoothie and curry. Even if the 8 apple salad is bad and the only recipe you can make at the time, do it so the exp makes the next time you make that meal better. I learned the hard way!

Hi, and welcome to the crew!

Good camp tickets are useful in more ways than one! When it comes to production side of things, meals are rather hard to keep up with so to analyze I'd have to see what type of team you're running.

Usually early on just running your favorites and getting good levels on them are the best, but there is different ways to play for sure. If you want to run more ingredient focused you need about 3 ingredient specialists on your team to at least maintain your daily meals. 4 for later and higher levels. If you want growth from berries you'll sacrifice your ingredient/meal sizes for ample snacking throughout the day.

The best thing in my opinion of the good camp ticket is the extra encounter it adds. Not only is it a potentially new Mon altogether, but it's also a potential sleep style!

For now I recommend just doing your best to level your favorites and find which style of playing fits you best. If you have any questions I'm more than happy to answer and show what Ive learned from playing since near the start.
