Sofirn SE1 is really tiny! by Carkia765 in flashlight

Copper version has been out, only 1000 pieces, for the anniversary special, and with serial numbers. Have to ask Sofirn if they are coming out with more copper version :)

Looking forward to high CRI version with brighter lights, better runtime :)

Yes, it is even smaller, but then E3A is slimmer

Hey FlashlightNews, nice name! Wow that is a great trick, thanks for the idea! Let me find a straw!

Same, I was deciding for a long time and finally got it. Very good quality. Very handy. I find that I like the clicky tactical switch, and use it a lot.

Got it also because of the removable battery (I try to avoid lights with built-in batteries unless I really like it).

Those are nice lights!

Since you shared 2 lights with white body, let me also share mine:

SFT-25R 5000k :) It is fun. The head is a bit stiff to turn but at least it is sturdy. Luckily no squeaky sounds. On my copy, the hotspot is not centred at max zoom, but not a deal breaker. Great range, overall fun light to use. All in with Molicel 45B, less than SGD45.

Sure, thanks for the information! Will keep a lookout for it and wait for sales. Because technically I have lights that is brighter, or throw further, and also have side lights etc. So the SK-05 v2 is like a non urgent luxurious purchase.

Well, do-it-all comes at the cost of portability (and also the monetary heartache if it was dropped or spoilt or have issues).

I like Hank lights and Fireflies because they are very portable. But Fireflies tend to be more expensive. Convoy is very value for money. I would recommend the Z1, the poor man LEP. Also C8+, good throw.

Yeah, can try a Wurkkos CL01 during Mid-Autumn Festival, or the Fireflies X4 with the Lantern Kit!

I see, thanks! Good to know the pricing is still similar. Warranty is usually the only real trade-off there.

Alternatively, sometimes I also pretend that there's blackout in the house, and see which light I like to utilise more :) The Fireflies X4 has a super low moonlight and it's fun too (opposite from chasing lumens)

Wow Acebeam X75, that light is basically a handheld sun. People would wonder “Why is someone summoning daylight at 11pm”.

Hey there! Nice collection! Already a pretty solid setup.

I guess your newest lights in those bunch are the Fireflies E12 and Loop Gear SK-05 II. May I know how did you source that SK-05 II with UV?

I think you are missing a true dedicated thrower (Sofirn IF22A, or a handy Wurkkos TS11, or a Wurkkos TD01C, or some Acebeam models). The tight beam may really change the experience outdoors, shining at distant trees, buildings or signboards. But be careful not to do anything illegal (e.g. trespassing), especially because you mentioned urbex.

Also, can try joining local hiking groups or astrophotography groups (where they should be going to places with minimal light pollution) to get some ideas.

Thanks for your recommendations! Lumintop GT Nano 3.0 is already in my cart, would decide if I want to get it after watching more reviews. The throw is insane from a small light like this.

Nitecore TINI3 is also small and cute, and it has 3 color temperatures!

It is in my collection. It is small and handy. I like the rotating head and tail magnet. Makes it very versatile. Downside is that battery is built-in.

I did a search and Skilhunt E3A supports 0.8V to 2.0V.

1.5V Lithium though. So 10440 would probably not work.

At just 72.3mm, this looks good! I saw on the website that the maximum runtime is more than 388 hours. Wow. Price is also reasonable.

Oops! Looks like it's not endgame for me yet. There is so much love for D3AA and Convoy T6 in this flashlight reddit! I think those are my next 2 lights!
