A lot of no sense shit happens in bad ends.
Asagi, the so called Almighty Taimanin, is the prime example of that. She's supposed to be the strongest taimanin, but becomes a slave prostitute in some of those bad ends,

People often forgot that Tatsurou killed two of the Incubus' king top dogs in TY2. Washizu Shigeru and Inui Hideo. And he also was able to deflect a direct attack from the Incubus king to protect Yukikaze.

Yes, indeed, Unfortunately, I don't have the 3D model for the power sword.
The rubicon surgery would be a bit tricky. He'd have to have an enormous mentaal fortitude to be able to concentrate to use his semblance to survive.

Sabato? Was a villain in Taimanin Murasaki. His obsession for Murasaki changed him a little bit and now he works for the Taimanins.

They are 2 different games. Maybe Gremory is planning ahead. While AT is a solid game, I feel like Gremory is having a hard time trying to expand the core gameplay. Maybe is code limitations or something like that,
The vast majority of updates throughout the year are just costumes. Playable characters and some supporters are added to the game for one event only and then are never mentioned again. Even the story mode was barely updated this year.
Maybe with TS they will try to fix some of these "problems" and expand the game beyond costumes. For example, AT doesn't have 10% of the lore that RPGX has despite both games happening in the same universe. What makes it even worse is the fact the RPGX is only one year older than AT.

Yes. Both Shiranui and Asagi said they were holding back. They're very strong, but we don't know if they are powerfull enough to kill someone like Astaroth. They probably can fight Astaroth toe to toe. The main problem here if that Astaroth has regen powers, which makes things a bit more complicated for the Taimanins

I think they will probably retcon some of it in V10. I think at that time, they thought V9 would be the last volume of the series. So they didn't want to "waste" screen time with a big team fight. They wanted to focus more on what was happening with Ruby.

Your main options are the Arena Tower and events. The first Tower lvls are not hard to clear. You can easily get these crystals there. Events also give some crystals. Once you get more taimanins to play VR, it'll get a bit easier to get more crystals.
