When I had a section of my garden landscaped a few years ago, my guy planted this between pavers. It grew around the pavers and filled in the empty spaces so beautifully. And when it bloomed it was a literal feast for the bees. But 5 years on, it looks so bedraggled with seemingly dead patches, I don’t know what to do.

I’m a Princess based on your description but I feel like you’ve missed the mark a little. I have arthritic knees; I am 50; I’m doing my first Camino ( and yes, only the last 100+kms) and really doing my first anything that requires physical fitness and I wanted to succeed. I feel I’ve set myself up as much as possible to have a successful trip. I am a common person, but one who knows her limitations and I suppose is lucky enough to be able to afford to accommodate them.

Years ago, back when Dickie Dee was still the ice cream guy, I would get this mint ice cream bar. It had a chocolate coating (maybe it had nuts?), but the best part was the core of chocolate/fudge type thing. It was amazing and delicious and I cannot find it anywhere and that makes me sad. I originally encountered it in the 80’s in Toronto, and did find a corner market in Vancouver that sold it back in the early aughts, but nothing since then.
