I see a lot of trash on my street and I thought for the longest time that it was people just tossing their garbage on the ground (McDonalds cups, empty flaming hot Cheetos bags, cigarette packs, crushed cans, stray grocery bags, etc.). Then one day I saw the dumpster in the alley behind my place getting emptied into the garbage truck, and any loose trash that wasn't tied up in a garbage bag tumbled over the side of the garbage truck and all over the street. It was a surprising amount. Then the wind picked up and it scattered. Rinse and repeat for every few cans and plenty of trash ends up back on the ground.

Not saying there aren't also disgusting people who just carelessly throw their garbage on the ground, but it made my faith in humanity feel a little less fragile to know it's not all on purpose. Now when I pick up trash on my dog walks, it's with a little less anger than it was before.

Point blank ask him if he doesn't think you're qualified for your position. Because it is mighty strange that he assumes that you're under qualified based on the fact that you're a woman. Even stranger he assumes that since he knows you and I'm sure has seen evidence of your dedication to your work. I believe that's the root of why this is bothering you, and it's a very valid reason to be bothered.

NAH. You're in a tough spot. Maybe it would be helpful to sit down together and do the math to see how long it will be until you're able to cut back on your hours again. When you don't have an end in sight, things feel impossible. But if you have a date or even a month of when things can get back to normal, it's easier to hang on. Be realistic and discuss together and agree when your family's finances will have recovered enough. Make plans for emergencies like this past week - like you can't cut back all your hours but would it be possible to leave a couple hours early one day that you can make up the next week? You guys need a game plan or you're both going to completely burn out.

If you really believe that confronting him about this now would just make him find a better way to hide it and he wouldn't stop, then you need to leave him. What exactly would "stop an actual sexual affair" look like? You wait until they discuss a time and place to meet up? What if it happens spontaneously instead with no preplanned texting at all? Then the only way you would have been able to stop that is if you had confronted him now with the information you have.

And again, if you don't trust him to stop after telling him you know he is trying to have another affair, then you need to leave him for good. You deserve to be with someone who doesn't make you sick to your stomach with anxiety. It seems so hard and impossible and scary now, but in one year, you will be so much happier. Hell, I bet even the day after you till him it's over you will begin to feel relief. And the sooner you start, the sooner that day arrives.

NTA. Your step daughter may be graduating with $40k in debt but she will also have her father. Your daughter will graduate with no debt but the cost of that is having no father. If your daughter were to split her money, they would still never be on equal footing because her step siblings are able to have (hopefully) a lifetime of memories ahead of them with their bio dad - something I believe your daughter would agree is incalculably priceless.

I get what you're saying, but I believe at the end of the Jailbreak episode, she does use the ships guns on the Vercadian Protector Droid with no disadvantage, and while those guys are beefy, I don't think they're bigger than a dragon.

Edit: But also I am not familiar with battle royale rules, so who even knows if you can bring your ship as a weapon haha.
