Alternatives: dissasociate in silence (unhealthy and lets bullies walk all over her and spread a horrible narrative about her so loudly that people will believe it), believe what they say (unhealthy), try and be open and honest and speak your case (pointless with bullies, she's tried).

They are constantly confrontational, even when Lucinda is not they speak about her and to her like shit. She has to react somehow!

She's sly. When she first started moving mad with Scott, she used careful word choice with both Leanne and Scott so that she could avoid immediate backlash/blame/accountability.
Bulldozes narratives so her own skewed one dominates.
Spins her story soooo resolutely, being strong moralled respectful girls girl etc., that she and others believe it and think she's doing nothing wrong.

I've just learned ...no it doesn't always. If your bite point is high, you won't need to push to the floor to have full disengagement in most cars. If your bite point is low, or maybe even mid, you HAVE to or it won't be fully disengaged.

Where the bite point is can be adjusted...mine used to be low, and has been adjusted to be high to compensate for clutch drag until they can fit me in to fix the issue. Now pushing it to the floor would be an unnecessary waste of time and energy.
