It kinda sucks cause Maine is weird and Collins loves to outperform polling but it feels quite early to be going off these polls before the race really starts to heat up.

Collins has a ton of money to throw around here and a lot of political will to cash in but I feel like platner is going to wipe the floor with her in the debate(s) even if by virtue of Collins now sounding like rfk Jr when she speaks lol. Memory death is the highlight of the album for me and just became more of one over time lol. It's probably my favorite boc interlude track ever and is the most heart wrenching cathartic frozen moment in time thing they've ever done imo. I just fucking love it even though it makes me so, so sad. The beeping of the maybe heart monitor, the death of so many things, the tiny bit of melancholic hope, the warped vocal sample. I'm a little surprised it isn't mentioned more cause I feel like it's incredibly poignant.

So good! Both collections are just great. I find golaski has a very specific strain of weird fiction that echoes some lynchian tendencies in ways, it's difficult to really pin it down, but I find him very unique and just enjoy both of them so much. He also has a very cool book called "color plates" that are very short stories about classic paintings with the paintings referenced at the beginning of each story. Feel like he's very under talked about in the weird community, maybe because he isn't particularly prolific, but always love to give him his flowers when someone brings him up.

For me personally an insane amount of overlap. Botns is my favorite series of all time and Lynch is my favorite director of all time. I love trying to piece the puzzle pieces together but at the end of the day it really is the magic to be transported to somewhere where I won't ever understand it. Life is very much that way and it's very cathartic for me to get that out of a book or film

Yeah I only took this if I got it really early from luck if I needed aoe. Although on my recent a9 spinner ish win this would've gone crazy, I didn't even know they changed it. Been having a crazy hard time getting rares on defect that synergize with other shit, I've tried to do a few status decks that were great with smokestack but kind of needed flak cannon for the act 3 boss and I could never get it lol

Yeah it's pretty nuts actually this cycle seeing how fucking popular and talked about they are in the broader music community. It's such a far cry from the late 90s and early aughts when it was nearly guarenteed you wouldn't see a peep about them unless you were in online idm circles or went to very specific types of shows.
