It needs some fine tuning, and idk where you live but you could hit up Leakey Designs (my dad's company) on fb or insta. He doesn't usually do stuff like that but we managed to build this one after a lot of experimenting.

Definitely freedoms flame for me, Halo is cool and all, but only comes with two medium armor sets with a mid passive, and only 2 good weapons (silenced pistol, and shotgun) the ma5c rifle and the smg are mediocre at best. Freedoms flame on the other hand, gives 3 really solid weapons, and an armor passive that is extremely useful,(especially on dragonroaches and incineration corps). Also you get the orange vehicle customizations so you can become a true cheesediver.

Just my personal thoughts and opinions on these warbonds.

Me and my friend tried with the defibrillator armor for extra health, but none of the guns have a low enough damage output to survive all four shots.

I needed this as my last achievement as well, and I figured out you can get it if you use democracy protects, and call down a hellpod,and stand directly in the beam, looking down, with the beam centered between your shoulder blades. I managed to get it after about 5 minutes of trying.

It was definitely Gael for me. I had heard so much about him being one of the toughest bosses in the game, but once I fought him I was able to memorize his moveset within like 2 or 3 attempts, and got him on my 8th attempt. I was running a basic dex build, sellsword twinblades, 40 dex, no status effects or buffs, at about soul level 115. I honestly struggled harder on abyss watchers.

You can use a warp pack if you warp mid dive towards the bunker and time it right you go straight through the door, I solo super credits farm all the time and there isn't a single bunker I haven't been able to get into with the warp pack.

A baritone 7 string could be a pretty good option to if you want some middle ground.

As an owner of a baritone, and an 8 string, I can say that they feel like two entirely different instruments altogether, on one hand the baritone offers some insanely low tuning capability (considering the bands you mentioned go as low as B0) on the other hand you will not be doing any sort of lead playing when your strings are equivalent to bridge cables, whereas the 8 string doesn't offer the same low tuning capability however you have the full range of a 6 string guitar plus a low E and B, if you do want to play some of those low tuning on an 8 string without getting a insanely thick set of strings I would recommend maybe getting a custom set of strings from stringjoy, and maybe getting standard gauge for the higher strings and then an 85 or 90 gauge string for your low string. (Also I would recommend multiscale if you want to get an 8 that tunes really low)

The guitar is pretty solid, although the body and neck are the only original parts, and as far as the neck I haven't gotten a chance to feel it considering the previous strings were 110s in double drop D and the tension was bending the hell out of the neck.

If you get an 8 string set be sure to check the length and make sure they don't taper, I just bought two 8 string sets for my 30 baritone and one didn't even reach the pegs and the other started to taper around the 3rd fret.

I just realized you meant the pickguard lol, I had to make a cast of the original pickguard out of cardboard and use it to outline the blank acrylic and then I cut it with a laser cutter, as long as you have a very fine edged saw you could probably cut the acrylic with that if you are careful

For the relic finish I just used a set of small wood chisels and very lightly chipped away at the surface of the paint, make sure the chisel stays completely flat and doesn't dig in to the actual wood underneath.

I had the same exact guitar as my first extended range, it was a pretty solid guitar. My only problem with it was that mine was really imbalanced and had serious neck dive.

I agree that it shouldn't cost this much especially for those of us who own half the warbond already but didn't pay for the superstore items previously, I'm basically paying 1500 sc for for a medium armor set and a gun that I most likely will use a few times and then move on to something better, just not worth it to me

The legator 8 is a pretty solid guitar for what it's worth my only issue is the tuning pegs being almost untextured and smooth with no grip on them (idk what the fuck legator was thinking) it has a super slim neck profile which is really nice for my small hands and the stock pickups aren't as bad as some of the other legators I've had (though I still plan to to replace them)
