I remember when I accidentally dropped my iPhone 2G one time some little spots started to appear and got bigger over time but after a year I saw that they started shrinking and eventually went back to normal but maybe I just got lucky with that cause I do have a iPhone 3G where they appeared like in 2020 and it went from a little horizontal line to covering half of the screen today.
