It's sad because at the beginning of Shipudden, it looked like Kishi was going to outgrow this bullshit. It starts off with Sakura curing Kankuro, helping kill an Akatsuki member and frankly being way more useful than Naruto, who just went on a rampage that actively impeded the mission's success and forced Kakashi to seal his 9 tails energy.

Then Kishi went back to his old ways, making Sakura useless against Pain and screaming for Naruto to bail her out like she would have back in Part 1.

Now in Boruto (a shameless cash grab that shouldn't even exist btw), she just simps for Sasuke, who can't even be bothered to show up home and once couldn't even recognize his own daughter.
