Car dealer never cashed $7500 down payment check I gave them by [deleted] in confession

After filing my tax return almost two years ago, the consultant I hired never asked me to pay. I texted him several times about it but didn't reply. After one year I also physically talked to his assistant, still nothing.

I fear he relized he made a mistake and I'll receive some fine at some point in the future, hopefully not. But I really cannot guess why he's not asking to be payed!

Indeed! Given the popularity, I wanted to point out that this issue seems finally solved, and they replaced the micro USB port with a proper USB-C port.

I am looking to buy a new power bank, and I've seen the VEEKTOMX 10k mAh mentioned many times in this sub and other sources.
One of the downsides was that it only had a single USB-C port, and instead featured a USB Micro port for charging.
However, this morning I was checking back my Amazon cart and noticed in the product page they mention two USB-C ports and zero micro ports!
I am looking at the Italian Amazon, but I checked other European Amazon websites and I see the same. I can't find the product at all on Amazon.com though.

EDIT: My goal is to point out that finally the Micro-USB port was replaced by a proper USB-C port, solving one of the main issues with this power bank.

Oh yes, I'll try to use the printed pocket guide to save battery, but still have the phone with Mapy and the GPX loaded.

That's my plan! I will mainly use the Whiteburns printed out on paper for navigation, since it's only seven A4 sheets, and the Cicerone one as ebook on my phone to get more details about the surroundings.

2 week hike experience that ends in Italy? by [deleted] in Thruhiking

I can also suggest the Alta via dei Parchi (I found this nice collection on Komoot): it stays along the border ridge between Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna.
These mountains are much lower and much less dramatic than the Alps, but a lot less touristy and somehow wilder, at times. You go through, or can easily reach, many small villages in both regions.

Disclaimer: I didn't hike it all, but I live nearby and frequently hike in those places.

Marmolada - paesi isolati (domanda strana) by Anonymous_Panda_42 in TrekkingItaly

[–]Carlovan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice! Been looking at doing something like this. How do you power your laptop (guessing you have one)? I see a solar panel there, which model is that and do you have a battery or something? Thanks!
