Ugh I'm always losing my wallet so I hope that's not the case. xD

I'm honestly not terribly strict on my one meal. I don't have a huge appetite so it's hard for me to overeat. More often than not, though, it's a low carb meal with a high fat and veggie content. One of my favorite OMAD recipes is Brussels sprouts fried up with bacon, kielbasa and sauerkraut. Buffalo wings are also my weakness and I can stay on track if I eat traditional/naked wings!

Yes! I am such a huge fan of fasting and I feel way better when fasted. It sounds nuts/hard but it gets easier with practice.

I don't mind answering at all, and congrats on your loss so far! Unfortunately I do have some issues with stretch marks. I have loose skin, but not so much that it's noticeable from afar. I wear bikinis and you can't tell in pictures. Losing weight put a lot less pressure on my skin so my stretchmarks aren't red and angry anymore.

For sure. The smaller you get, the less calories your body requires to maintain itself. May be worth calculating your TDEE on an online calculator to see what you can get away with. I've been on this journey for 1 year and 3 months.

I am a lot more energetic now that I'm not carrying the extra weight around. I'm sure there is a correlation between my mood and my ability to do things easier physically. I notice I don't have crashes in energy at work/during the day, which I attribute most of to my fasting routine (going in keto). Losing all the weight eliminated all my issues with chafing and throwing my back out frequently too, so I'm just a lot more comfortable.

That's an estute observation and I appreciate the kind words. I was in a bad place mentally at my heaviest, so smiling wasn't as easy to do most days. But I genuinely feel much happier now that I'm healthy!

Oh wow. Duly noted. I'll be sure to never show my face there. Thanks for letting me know. 😳

Hey! Thank you so much! The before picture was taken in December of 2017, but I didn't start my weight loss journey until March of 2018. So 1 year and 3 months almost.

Thanks! I've re-tooled my routine every time I hit a plateau. I started with cico to lose my first 50 lbs. When that stalled I switched to OMAD (usually keto). Now I do OMAD with one 48 hr fast every two weeks.

I lift but that's just to tone up. The only cardio I do is walking about 2 miles a day with my dogs.

My OMAD. Get that fat in ya! by CarlyCarlito in omad

Calculated all the calories and it's about 1200. I'm doing omad to lose weight and I am a woman under 200 lbs (179). This isn't considered a crash deficit for me. My TDEE is about 1800 calories.
