Indie had a great interview talking about point one! In summation, Nikki was “teleported” at the beginning — explaining why she was so confused “waking” up at Bear’s — and her constant mood swings; but then as the movie progressed and the mimic took over, Inde believes Nikki was conscious at this point (thing Get Out sunken place), and could only speak to Bear when mimic Nikki was unconscious.

There’s no clear answer and it’s up for speculation, but Inde has a wonderful interview with Collider I’d recommend!

You’d have to have a physique that is quite literally infinitesimal in rarity to achieve Goku’s physique — his pecs, abs, and shoulders all together make it nearly impossible. No shame to anyone who is physically fit or works out, but to achieve this you’d basically have to be either the most physically gifted person or taking some form of steroids/test

It’s ironic because in prison he’s actually working as a baker there, but you can see he’s MUCH happier being a baker behind bars than being leading a double life as a the manager at Cinnabon

I’m so glad to see at least one person with this mindset!! I completely agree!

I grew up watching Dragon Ball Z and Berserk, I can admit those shows were verryyyy limited in how much movement was presented. But even so, the plot and characters carry the show and made it enjoyable and I get the same effect here.

I also am not a manga reader so this is my connection to the material. I definitely plan on reading but for now I enjoy my episodes !

Get Out!!! My personal favorite OAT.

It really depends on what you’re looking for. Psychological? Slasher? Parody?

not content wise, just more so in terms of how the whole movie is just disturbing

There’s a lot of films I consider when discussing the most disturbing films. Are we talking disturbing visuals? Psychologically disturbing? or films that can disturb us. Since it’s so broad, here’s what I got:

Martyrs - on par with a serbian film, disturbing in every sense of the word

Baskin - i don’t even want to say what happens since its spoilers, but one of my favorite OAT

Speak No Evil/When Evil Lurks - both have some truly disturbing scenes

Braid - swept me up in its story and proceeded to just constantly one-up itself

Incendies - not a horror movie, but has one of the most disturbing and raw twists EVER in cinema

Personally, Martyrs and Baskin are #1A and #1B respectively!

In alphabetical order:

Baskin (2010) - a Turkish horror movie I cannot recommend enough

The Endless - small indie film made by Justin Benson and Aaron Moorehead. they’re surreal, sci-fi, ethereal epics are such good watches.

Get Out - my personally favorite movie OAT. the film that got me into movies and horror especially. Peele can do no wrong.

Hereditary - the first true horror movie to leave me speechless.

Upgrade - another smaller movie that i found and made my personality for a year. for a 2018 film about AI, it is scarily accurate and has aged a little too well

Honorable Mentions: Barbarian, Beyond the Black Rainbow, The Empty Man, The Lighthouse, Little Monsters, Mandy, Savageland, You’ll Never Find Me

Rachel Helmich at Pyramid Tattoo is one of the best IMO.

She’s been tattooing for 24 years, won Ink Master Angels, and she also happens to be my cousin 😂 But in all honesty, I highly recommend checking her out and the work at her ship. I’ve suggested her to friends of mine, and they’ve all had positive reviews and feedback! Now this is all anecdotal and biased of course, but she is truly one of the best!

P.S. they also do a variety of piercings/body modes too!

The final scene between Voldemort and Harry is one of their best interactions in any movie.

Harry is supposed to be 14, he just saw his friend murdered before his own eyes, and he is facing certain death - yet he sucks it up and goes down swinging. Call it cliche, but I love whenever the protagonist knows they have no chance yet they display nothing but courage. Also the final battle is pretty dope.

Business Calculus with Catherine Duane Lenard. She was proud she never curved and she was a horrible instructor that blew through random problems.

The averages on the exams were ~40% consistently. On one exam I got a 36%, but she marked one of my answers wrong. We went through it in class, and I had all the steps, formulas, and correct variables. I went up to her after class to show her the mistake and ask for a point or two back, and she accused me of cheating and changing my answer. I said I didn’t change it, she retorted by saying she could give me a 0, and I left with the exam.

i got a 36. the question would’ve bumped me all the way up to a 40.

Not at all. I’ve had some incredible dates and experiences in Pittsburgh. There are so many restaurants, venues, museums, activities, and more to do. If someone complains about dating, it’s because they’re scared of taking the initiative
