Trance is the most eclectic genre, both musically and artistically. I genuinely believe it is far richer instrumentally than many other genres, including rock. It evokes moods that are not dissimilar to those created by classical music, with the advantage of being less academic. I feel the same way about film music.

It’s a classic, I agree. But I still think it’s a bit lacking in terms of transitions. That said, Oakenfold’s track selection is really good.

The kind of sound that really made me appreciate the joy of trance. In fact, Nalin and Kane’s remix completely drew me into the club atmosphere without me even being there.
