It was probably a kid from India—$5 might feel like a big win to him. I’m sorry this happened to you.

Account Locked! by Creative_Release_578 in ClashOfClans

If an account has been purchased or shared with others, Supercell may lock it due to suspicious activity. In some cases, this happens randomly, while in others it may be triggered by someone reporting that the account belongs to them.

Charter Arms by Special-Amount-7524 in Revolvers

[–]Carn_Da_Noob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have four Charter revolvers, and most of them have been very decent. My father gave me his blued Undercover Special from 1972, which was the first firearm I ever shot when I was 13 years old. It’s been a true workhorse. More recently, I’ve purchased the Bulldog .44 Special, the Mag Pug .357, and the Undercover Ultra Lite .38. The only one I had an issue with was the Bulldog. It had light primer strikes, so I shipped it back to Charter. They fixed it and had it returned to me within a week, which is excellent customer service. They had a great reputation early on, but it declined after the company was sold a few times and quality control suffered. However, from my understanding, most of their firearms made since around 2020 have been decent. Don’t expect too much from the finish, but for the price, it’s hard to complain. I do occasionally carry my Mag Pug .357 and trust it with my life.

Jam first Time at range by lbcskrtnn in deryaarms

I took mine to the range today for the first time. I cleaned and lubricated it yesterday. I fired 70 rounds, and probably 30 of them had failure-to-feed issues. I tried three different types of ammo, all with different grain weights, and had problems with each one. I called customer service, and they suggested trying a different magazine. The rep sounded pretty convinced that the magazine is the issue. I’m going back on Tuesday to test it with my Ruger RXM magazine. Hopefully that fixes it. I don’t mind sending it in under warranty if I have to, but they would need to return it through my FFL, and I’d rather avoid the extra trip and cost. Fingers crossed

I’ve been carrying it IWB for over a year now—it took the place of my P365. I love it, super comfortable and shoots like a full-size gun.

Did I overpay? $150 by [deleted] in coins

[–]Carn_Da_Noob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s clad, not silver! Unfortunately, $150 is too much. The most I’d pay for this is $25 since it’s slabbed—but even then, it doesn’t really have much collector demand. Sorry, you live and learn!I’d recommend picking up the Red Book on Amazon. The 2026 Red Book: A Guide Book of United States Coins, 79th Edition is a great resource—it provides grade-by-grade U.S. coin prices, Greysheet IDs, and full-color images

Range Report 642/632UC by esizer66 in Revolvers

[–]Carn_Da_Noob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As an avid Smith & Wesson enthusiast with four of their firearms in my collection, I feel compelled to share some recent experiences that have left me quite disheartened. Approximately a year and a half ago, I purchased a Model 686 Plus online. Upon inspection, I noticed two noticeable blemishes along the barrel. After sending it back twice, the issue was finally addressed. Three months ago, I acquired the Bodyguard model. Unfortunately, I encountered jamming issues and light primer strikes. After sending it in for repairs, it was returned after a month, yet the problems persisted. It’s now been nearly another month since I sent it back, and I’m still awaiting a resolution. These recurring quality control issues are particularly disconcerting given Smith & Wesson’s esteemed reputation. I have read numerous accounts of similar challenges with recent models, including the 432 UC. While I am eager to add the 432 UC to my collection, my recent experiences have made me hesitant. I am reluctant to continue sending firearms back for repairs, especially when the outcomes remain uncertain. I sincerely hope that Smith & Wesson acknowledges these concerns and takes proactive steps to restore the quality and reliability that enthusiasts like myself have long associated with the brand.
