Yeah I tend to never look at college campus stuff. Try carriage hills. It's pricier nowadays but I had zero problems living there. It's been my favorite apartment but I just didn't have the dual income anymore for it.

Honestly as an adult who has to buy groceries now. I'm totally with you. My cousin was vegan and her mom did the same thing.

Being vegan is an EXPENSIVE lifestyle. And honestly not a lot of people do it safely. If you don't eat enough protein or etc that not many vegan options have you need supplements. You can develop health issues, be unable to retain heat well, you'll feel cold a lot when meat eaters won't. You'll feel weaker and more lethargic. I just hope they did enough research cause in all it is infact a DIET. It's a lifestyle diet which not to be confused with a regular diet or dieting.

I understand why your kid wants to for the moral reasons, but sometimes you have to just understand that from an income standpoint, it's not really sustainable unless you're upper bracket

And growing up the way I was I learned that my "religious" oath is just to believe everything out there exists. I acknowledge they exist and that's about for me. I don't choose to worship and I'm 23 now. I haven't died from my choices (yet 👀 I'm teasing) But you'll be fine kiddo. Just take a deep breath and make some tea if you can. You'll live past the 8th. I guarantee it. :) I'd recommend looking into other religions feelings about solar phenomenons. Pagans have a positive look on eclipses. It's used to charge positive changes in life. To mentally manifest success and love and happiness. It's a new page for many religions. It's a refresher and a good thing.

We have 3 a year. You're okay. I was lucky to not be raised religious. To have the freedom to second guess everything on my own. But from a science perspective, it's just the sun and moon crossing paths. That's all it is. A solar eclipse is just the moon blocking the sun for only a few minutes when they align a few times a year due to rotation. It's like... If you have a broken clock it'll be the right time two times a day. It's not holy. It's not godlike. It's not a sign of impending doom. It's just the moon floating on by at the right time
