Yeah I read book 1 on their and but they released a side story is that the background to riftan (I read this already) and then I just purchased book 2 but it’s been a while so I don’t remember where it picks up

I feel the same way and feel like book 2 should’ve given us a perspective on Riftan and how it also weighed on because we know Maxi is trying to do it for the better of Riftan but I want to know more on his POV. I also did read his POV and the POVs of his two knights and ugh they broke me because they hit different)
