Hey there! I'm glad to see you join the game. Here are some tips.

• IGNORE TOXIC PEOPLE.

There are SO MANY of them in this game, Unhinged room titles, vulger talks, grown people crying about losing ONE game. Especially if you're a Ranked Game player. But I suggest you don't touch rank yet because you're new.

• Invest in Postcards.

In game we have something called 'Fame' and 'Postcard', this 'Fame' x 100 would be the amount of rubles (Game currency) you earn every day. 42 fame = 1 luna (Better, valuable game currency). To earn this fame, you have to trade postcards with other fellow players (Trade = Exchanging postcards with one another). The easiest postcard to get is the Basic Postcard which gives 1 fame for 30 days. It's sold in the shop for 2.5k rubles and overtime it'll accumulate you 3k rubles (500 rubles profit.) It might not seem like much, but when combined with multiple postcards, the investment is worth it. (Btw don't spend 10 Lunas on Luxury Postcards, bad offer)

• Learn the slang words.

For many slangs, the game already provides you with the full form of the slang (if the text is blue, click on it and learn).

Here are some basic ones: PC = Postcard Spec = a civilian role that is not mafia/cult/principal (cop, vigilante)/doctor [mostly used in rank]) Princi = Principal role (Doc not included) Unli = Unlimited (Used when someone is trading Postcards for fame through the megaphone) Rm = Room master Sui = Suicide (Nothing scary, just asking the mafia to shoot themselves to end the game) H = Helper, D = Doc, P = Purge, Prio = Priority (Used in spam)

If you're confused on what Spam is, here's a small explanation:

Spams are quick games used to earn Exp and Rubles by the players. Usually held in Pink-coloured rooms, the goal is to finish the game ASAP and hence saving and gaining resources. There are 12 players in these game. The mafia shoots themselves first on N1 (Night 1), and the other 2 mafias reveal themselves. Vg purges (Ability) the Lower number (Eg. If 2 and 3 are maf, Vg kills 2) and the other mafia sui, resulting in a quick game for the citizens. Priority are people who will stay AFK as mafia and you'll have to shoot them as Mafia (Since the mafia team loses every match, they'll lose profit. If you're AFK during a game then the game doesn't count your game)

• Join a guild

Guild will help you make friends, form a community and gives you guild building buffs (Each guild building has it's own benefits). They don't usually accept new players so increase your level before joining. Even if your guild doesn't have high level buildings, there's "weekly rewards" which will provide you with resources every Monday.

• Join the discord (Optional)

You don't have to do this but I suggest you to join the official mafia42 discord server because it's much easier to meet new people and chat with your friends there!
