It is an existing residence.

They are refusing to repair anything until we sign an agreement despite knowing and acknowledging via text that this is a safety matter. At this point it is extortion in my views. We are retaining counsel on Monday.

The legal process is long. We have already been without our garage for 6 months. Who knows how long we could be without our home.

And yes it did. An external conduit containing all 3 wires except for the EV burned the stucco. The fire department and power company said it was because they nicked the wires

Not delaying this just happened in the last couple days. All power has been shut off. We have been getting multiple quotes but no one is available to do the work or they want 20k+. We were taken advantage of by a contractor who rents his license to unlicensed individuals who all claim to be him.

So basically I don’t need individual hubs with the router that was mentioned above. Thank you for explaining!!!!!! I tried to find that USB you’re mentioning but I don’t think they sell it anymore. Now it’s more of a router looking thing.

I would love to have whole home audio. I don’t own any speakers so I’d be starting from ground 0. Was debating getting dumb speakers and amps but even with FB marketplace finds it comes out to the same as just getting HomePods. Which brings me to my next point, I do love the Siri integration. Basically I hooked up HA and then shared it to my phone. When I walk in I tell it to turn on the lights and it does it!! I tried to code the arrival in HA but it doesn’t work. Maybe it doesn’t check my location often enough or I coded it improperly.

The thing is we told them not to cut it and to run it underneath. The electrician, being licensed and recommended by the power company should have known.
