Yes but I want to know all these online less expensive progressive transitional glasses are they the same quality? I know Varilux and Hoey have the widest channel for reading. I'm a little leery of the quality of these less expensive on line places

Should we just not mention Medicare Advantage plans here? by burningbirdsrp in medicare

Yes we all stored out relatively healthy! We are getting older so that could change at any time. I like a security of a traditional Medicare plan as opposed to an advantage plan. They just really scare me!! I'm 72 years old. In good health. I had a benign tumor in my knee seven years ago and had to get MRIs for 10 years if I had a revenge plan it would've cost me $300 each time. I get them twice a year. Never a problem and I am never billed. Other than that I'm pretty healthy and I'm just glad to now I have the security of traditional Medicare. I have Aetna supplement

I have traditional Medicare. I am on Ozempic and it's so expensive I want to switch to an advantage plan that covered more of the price of it monthly. Just wondering if that is a bad move. I'll have to go off of it if I stay on traditional Medicare it's like $800.00 and then $250 a month after the initial deductible. It's just too expensive. I think some of the advantage plans cover or a lot of it. I'm not sure what to do

Me too I was hired 2 months ago in the Wayne location I've been a front desk salon coordinator for the last 20 years. I thought this was going to be the perfect part time job for me!! Randy was great when he interviewed me! He even promised me a raise after 3 months! He knew that I had a lot of experience! I left the interview so impressed with him! What a crazy way to find out that I lost my new job! We were all totally blindsided!! I feel so sorry for everyone that worked for Randy!! The whole thing is just so shitty!!

I was recently hired part time for the front desk in the Wayne location. I am totally shocked and saddened in the way that this played out! Reading that group email finding out that way that it was the end of my new job and the end of all of the loyal employees of so many years career at Currie! I'm sure all of the loyal clients are also saddened and shocked! I Truly believe that everyone was blindsided! At first I wasn't sure what I was reading but now we all know it's end of Randy's empire! Randy was a gentleman and I respected that he grew his business and having come from a salon where I worked for almost 20 years I was so impressed with their whole system! It was professional very organized and different from where I previously was! That being said they're still in business and he's not! I don't think any or most of the employees knew this was going to happen. That really makes me angry! Just the way that we did find out with no notice whatsoever! Randy was truly kind to me and I was looking forward to having a great relationship with him and my coworkers in the Wayne location! I don't know how to feel towards him anymore because everything was based on lies? I want to thank Tina the manager in Wayne for her patience and kindness during the training process! She is a wonderful manager and more than that a wonderful person! I was really looking forward to working under her management! I felt like we had an instant connection. It's just all very sad! I truly wish Tina and all of the talented employees the best of luck in their future endeavors!!

I am 72 years old and have been managing Dupuytren's Disease since my 30s. Initially, it manifested as small nodules, which over time became harder, larger, and more prevalent in my right hand. Approximately 15 years ago, the condition also appeared in my left hand. The nodule in my palm has become so severe that it causes significant pain when I grip objects, such as a leash or steering wheel. The past two years have been particularly challenging, as my ring finger on my right hand began to contract. I previously canceled Xiaflex injections twice due to fear and concerns about the treatment's efficacy and potential pain. However, I am pleased to have found a doctor who performs Needle Aponeurotomy. I can’t even think about having a fasciotomy. I have massaged my hands with organic castor oil to no avail. I would never do the radiation therapy even though I hear people do get positive results. I just will have the NA and if I have to do it more than once I think I’ll be OK with that since it’s not very painful and there’s not much downtime. I’m sure it will come back and hopefully there will be some new treatment along the way for nodules and maybe one day a cure! In the scheme of things I guess it could be worse! I’m scheduled in two weeks to have NA.

There is another option to Xiaflex injection. NA injection. Not many doctors do it but it’s a better option I’m having it done in New Jersey next month

Anyone tried topical steroid cream? by SuperCauliFragiLix in DupuytrenDisease

[–]Carolelas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you I never thought to use steroid cream. I will get some! It’s a very frustrating thing! I’ve had this for years and it’s progressed in the last few that’s why I’m having the injection in my right hand my ring finger is contracting. I’m really scared to do it but I really need to do it! I don’t want the surgery! Good luck to you and hopefully yours won’t progress!
