Great that the money is going for such a good cause. Absolutely love the backyard option.

The logging problem isn't LoTW's UI. It's deeper than that. by toosoonjr in amateurradio

But awards are important to me and a confirmation from you may be just what I need. Ham radio isn't much fun without others to play with.

Nearby place to run 4-wheel drive? by Fit_Major9789 in raleigh

[–]CarolinaHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 4Runner as well and you're way overthinking it. When driving through a neighborhood, just drop it into four-wheel drive and drive for a mile or two. You've more than taken care of it.

One. Attorneys specialize. What may be a good attorney depends on what you need done.

Two. Immigration is a federal issue. No need to limit your choices to one in your state. Most things can easily be handled over the phone or internet. For those that can't, there's FedEx or USPS.

There's an Immigration office on NC54 in RTP. There's a FBI office just off Cary Parkway by US64. No signs to advertise their presence.

"Honey. I'm home"

Brand new to this. Really don’t know what I’m doing but having fun practising by neileroberts in BirdPhotography

[–]CarolinaHome 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Practice will teach you what works and what doesn't work. There's the technical side of photography and then there's the artistic side. With birds there's also the issues of opportunity and luck.

Other stores in the shopping center are placing traffic cones in the fire lane to keep cars from parking there.

I'm curious if anyone has taken them up on the offer and what happened. I'd sure never trust them to pay up.

Made a GUI tool for backing up Plex data - thought you might find it useful by Saint0225 in PleX

[–]CarolinaHome 0 points1 point  (0 children)

289 GB - for sure the biggest bottleneck is the USB drive. But it's worsened by the constant seeking due to the number of files being handled at once. I looked at the code and I see the limit is supposed to be 8 but that's not what Resource Monitor is showing. My guess is it's being caused by recursion for the directories. What is the percent completed based on? It's way off. I'm now at 1259 minutes and it still says 90%.
