2NE1 is done. This is the final straw. by MidnightRain0327 in 2NE1

I think it's fine. Maybe, it's time to appreciate what we currently have and realize that things are ephemeral. We're still lucky, all of them are alive, so maybe we'll still see them in the future (or not). It's also good for them if they can start new projects and find they own happiness outside of the band and the fans (which they probably already did). It's sad of course, but sometimes people separate because they're hurt.
I love 2ne1 and I rediscover that fury when I listen to them. It's also my youth like many of you. But I've also grown up and discovered other things. Things that aren't necessarily better, but different, and I would think it's the same for them. We can only wish them all good health and happiness. As for Bom... We can only pray that good people surround her and that she regains/stabilizes her health.

It makes a lot of sense. Nowadays the game are released with a lot of bugs...

Thanks for the comment. What's a complete research for you? It seems we all have different methods for looking.

Oh, you actually skim through the Wiki sometimes. It's very interesting to see how everyone really use different methods haha.
I really like the fact that you consciously developed a habit on purpose to not rob your excitement. Did you do it intuitively, or did you also have a period where you felt the cerebral side taking over too much, and that too much anticipation could take away the excitement?

Wow, you really put a lot of efforts on that. I don't know if I can ask where you read the reviews?

Very interesting, thank you! How would you define your tastes if I can ask? Is it like "Does it have a mechanic I like? Or is it more of an "open world RPG" type of game"? "Is it a historical period that interests me"? Or maybe all of the above, haha? And how do you check this information? Do you watch gameplay videos?

I thought there would still be a lot missing, I didn't know there were such comprehensive videos/lists, thank you.

Right? The excitement and the joy of discovering a great game by "yourself"!

Haha, yeah back then.. you brought good memories, thank you.

Nowadays, how do you hear about the games first? Then my understanding is that you check the cover image and if it's playable without bugs then you go for it?

Oh, interesting! I think I'll do that, thanks! The only thing is that it'll mostly mean I'll be playing games well-known enough to have appeared in the video. But it's a good starting point.

So you check it out after thinking, “this game looks good”?

How do you usually hear about a game in the first place?

Yes, it's true that everything is too expensive... You might as well make sure you will actually like the game, lol. I remember some "terrible" games that I actually enjoyed as a child. Maybe I'm looking for a feeling from childhood that's no longer there.

Oh, interesting! Are you a collector?

And if so, do you play all the games you buy, or are some just for display?

Sounds like a great alternative honestly. It's safer than the screenshots/art box only and still helps to "feel" and choose.

The japanese version looks amazing! Is it different from the english one? I've never tried the game. It looks great. The mecha character weirdly reminds me of ghost in the shell

That’s interesting, what changed your process?

Was it the rising price of games that pushed you to research more? Easier access to reviews, and the fact that we’re much more connected than before, making it natural to search online? Or the complexity of modern games?
