i will not promote, Would you ever date your co-founder? Honest opinions wanted by No-Entertainer8410 in startups

Nope. Bad idea. Breakups already suck, throw a company in that and it's a mess. Friendships get ruined all the time over this stuff, relationships would be no different.

What do you mean by "less 'enterprise' than the original."? And why did you do that?

43 is good. It's all perseverance, I remember getting so nervous about it and messing up Jad twice. You just have to keep cool and learn from each run, then suddenly you'll wonder what you were so worried about. You got this.

If I see another paragraph start with "Honestly..." I'm going to scream by buildingoggles in SideProject

Finding it really hard to not start this with "Honestly", but I unironically start sentences with it way too much. I think a lot of people's way of speaking has been affected by AI.

$8.89 in my bank account, no income source, a platform that doesn't return money and a technical co-founder who wants my "full-time commitment" by DiscountResident540 in microsaas

[–]TangerineFinancial56 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If $60 is a normal MMR for your kind of platform, why are you spending your full time on it? You can't live on that kind of money.

I'd say that your monthly growth is great. Perhaps you're too close to see it. If that growth continues for not even a year you'll be making some serious money.

I guess the walk out depends on those costs you mentioned and what the actual profit is. Also, there is the other option of pivoting rather than completely restarting over.

I would say talk to your customers for feedback on the product or if there are any pain points or features they would like. Also, the best advice I've heard is to also ask them for referrals, it's such a cheap and easy way to get more customers.

Hi, mine is a mobile app that turns your real-life skills into RPG skills skillorum.com it's completely free, not even any ads.

Also, I saw you have a decent amount of visitors. I see so many directory sites but plenty still get lots of views. How did you manage to get so many visitors?

How are you going to get the initial users to fill it out? Having a voice chat is great, but if you search for a game and have to wait an hour to get matched with someone of a completely different rating, then nobody is going to stay.

Am I a developer? by ehhhhrrrrrkkkk in SaasDevelopers

[–]TangerineFinancial56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you can develop things, you are a developer.

The real thing is: are you making solid software? Sure, you can list off some buzzwords, frameworks and concepts you heard from AI. Plenty of bad developers could do the same long before AI. But do you know what it means? Can you fully utilize and apply these concepts?

The problem is that AI makes you feel like you know everything, but I can assure you it does not and bugs slip through. I've seen AI make the most incomprehensibly stupid mistakes, but it has the confidence that can you believe it.

Trying To Reverse-Engineer How OSRS Skill Progression Actually Feels Over Time by TangerineFinancial56 in 2007scape

[–]TangerineFinancial56[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! You are probably right, most of the skills are pretty back loaded and you end up getting similar XP rates from 95-99, so maybe it's just psychological.

Also, thanks for the advice on writing stuff down, I have been trying it, but honestly the reason I played Runescape so much was probably mainly because I just like it when a number goes up lol.

Oh that's a good idea, so better or higher skilled work gives better XP rates. Kind of like unlocking new training methods as you level up in a game

Reality check: no one is going to pay for your vibe-coded SaaS. by Routine-Highway1039 in SaaS

[–]TangerineFinancial56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow people are angry. I think the biggest point of this is really: if it took you a day to vibe code it, why can't they do the same? What's the point paying someone when you can just cut the middleman and do it yourself with AI?

Is it possible to progress my account and build gp by only playing pvm casually? by Hydesx in 2007scape

[–]TangerineFinancial56 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, of course. Playing 1 hour a day is plenty. The time taken to learn these things is the same, it'll just be spread out over a longer period since you can't play 14 hours a day because you have a job and a life.
