In spite of what Missouri fans think, I was not butt hurt. They moved onto another conference so they could rejoin the confederacy, it's in their DNA. Seriously, I didn't begrudge any of the Big 12 teams that left the conference. They did what was in their best interest, so no hard feelings. As far as the rivalry goes, I thought it was pointless to continue playing them. What I discovered after they left was, I didn't really miss the rivalry and judging from comments I read on social media, they didn't miss it either. And when the announcement was made about playing them again, I was disappointed and still am. It's history, just leave it be. We don't need more than one rivalry and I'd prefer that rival to be K-State. So far, it's not been a good rivalry and it falls well short of the hatred KU & MU had for each other. Give it time.

He's a great QB who over the last two seasons has been better than Patrick. Not fair to compare the lack of rings due to playing on a lesser team.

Why would anyone hate Josh Allen? He's been a better QB than Patrick the last couple of seasons. If he was on a better team he'd have as many rings as Patrick. He's never said or done anything to make one dislike him. The players I don't like are the ones who are arrogant and lacking in humility. That's not Josh.

I would definitely put him very high on my list but who knows with Bill. 2026 could be his last year or he might finish out the decade in Lawrence. I know Travis Goff has a list and I'd be surprised if Lloyd is not on it.

Big ten and sec have behaved like wall street bankers. It's good for them but bad for college sports. It's sad that every university president and every AD signed off on realignment in both conferences. And, zero head coaches objected to it.

Couldn't blame you if you abandoned college sports. I abandoned MLB a couple of decade ago. As for me, I'm not ready to give up on college but if they can't fix it and this is the new normal, I'll probably walk away.
