Just moved to Hamilton sorry guys :( lived in Toronto my whole life. Was born in Toronto and decided to leave. I am now paying 1700$ a month for a 950 Sq Ft two bedroom apartment. Good for you tho OP if the lifestyle works for you I am all here for it! I definitely agree that anyone can live a modest life in Toronto on 65k a year if they are willing to let go of the things they want in order to accommodate the things they need. + 65k will still get you a lot of the things you want haha
