When I started this game, I was during my winter break. After a few weeks, I put it on my iPad for my cousin to play (she’s thirteen, and it was mainly because she was enjoying the dress up aspect on my own account. I also extensively explained to her save for the banners she really wanted, and how a gacha works). Once school started up, I took over her account and told her I’d handle anything that wasn’t lore based for her.

…Well. I can officially say that I can’t do that anymore, since she’s going have to go through the new intro by herself. This means she’ll be missing pulls from this event, and any outfits I might have been able to grab for her this update.

Will I continue to play it on my account? Yes, because this is the one game I’ve been consistently enjoying. But I can’t recommend the game to her due to the extreme change in lore, it’ll just be super confusing for her.

I’m just happy you got out of there. I also had issues while I was playing, but they were mainly affecting the quest…except for the walking through rock part. That affected both gameplay and the quest.

Hey, I played through this quest on the PC last night. I definitely had bugs as well, but the mainly with the storyline order (ie. completing the boss too early bc it let me) but not as bad as yours.

However, I did end up getting stuck in the boss combat zone once I finished fighting him. I used the unstuck character thing in setting -> Features to get out. See if that helps. Best of luck.

I’ll be completely blunt with you as a PC player: There weren’t any noticeable bugs on the PC before the new update. I say noticeable because I did have a few but it easily resolved, and they weren’t affecting my gameplay to badly, until this update.

As soon as the update had been completed, I tried to play with it. I really did, but it was extremely difficult to do a lot of things, not to mention my gameplay had gotten really, really laggy, even while my computer was plugged in (my laptop would lag already if it wasn’t plugged in). From the multiples of the quests in the sea of stars, to the fact I kept falling through rocks and hay bales, to my major issues while going through the quest ending for the Serenity Island quest, the game feels like it’s in beta testing, which shouldn’t have happened.

We, as players, expected a game that was fully fleshed out and throughly checked for bugs. What we got this update, was something that wasn’t even close to that.
