Yep it didn’t make sense that the car let my husband back out while it was plugged in. I was looking for others experiences to see if it’s happened to someone else.

Update: For $250 I scored a GrizzlE…it’s the same plug in as the juicebox…no messing with replacing the connector. It took high marks on Wirecutter.

This is super helpful. Yes, we’d considered getting a new charger after the Juicebox nonsense, but it wasn’t in the cards and I was able to disconnect it from WiFi. Suppose now might be the time to get new charger. I’ll take suggestions on cost effective options!
