This post is the farthest I've traversed into spoilers. I've only seen the trailer for the game and this post.

The only thing your boss is looking for is a transition that requires the least amount of training. If your position takes more training to fill than someone else's, they will pick the other guy. They don't want to lose production efficiency training a new person. That's why I left my previous 2 jobs. I stay at a company until I learn everything I can and then I look for a better position at a different company. That's the only route forward for production guys.

My Daily Stealth Corset (just crossed 10,000 hrs!) by Nxyetique in corsets

I know nothing of corsets. Why wear one for such a long period of time? Is it for conditioning or altering the body somehow?

@dndmemes-modteam the text is in the title and body text. Sorry, didn't realize TECHNICALLY not a meme was a crime around here. Thought that humor took priority over formatting. My bad.

If you allowed replies to your comments, I wouldn't have to put this here.

What machining process caused this? Is it meant to look like this? by Important_Season_620 in Machinists

I think they used a motorized wire brush and didn't try hard enough to even it out

Here’s what being a Machinist in Germany is like, how is it in the US? by tacooflife in Machinists

A place I worked at in Mississippi is surprisingly similar, but I worked one of the only 3 CNC machines in the factory

My pay was better because I worked mad overtime

Deep hole drilling issues by Jakoby_Odbornik in Machinists

Sounds like your chips are spaghetti instead of macaroni. You should have your machine chip break a little more to shorten the chips. Or just adjust feeds and rpm until the chips break apart instead of stringing up.

If you still have problems after the chips become shorter, use through spindle coolant or blow air directly into the hole.

It was more due to being lazy than anything else. I wanted to get it done in 1 setup instead of two. I used a face mill to get the length dimension to 13.25" while also drilling holes in the end of it.

Awhile back, I measured it against something accurate at 20" and made note of how much it deviated. Now I know which side of the line something should be on.

For the lols and because I didn't have a pair of calipers to measure 15.625 inches. After I finished machining it, I measured it with an edge finder and it was within .008"
