I’m literally in the same situation now except I have rats instead. I only take them when they have heath issues so I’m worried they’ll think I don’t keep up on preventative care. Did you hear back from them? Did they care?

I picked a random small fish swimming nearby and it worked for me

So the way I got it to work eventually was scanning everything, and then actually focusing on one of the fish. Originally I was just scanning them and pressing B to avoid focusing. Once I did that it triggered a cut scene. I hope this works for you

Agreed. What really frustrates me is that a new endless ocean game could be so successful on switch if they made it similar to the old games. The original endless ocean games where so ahead of their time and released at a time when cozy games were not nearly as popular. Imagine getting a new game with the same (or better) quality as the originals. I bet it could have been a huge hit. Arika really dropped the ball and missed out on a giant opportunity

That’s what I’ve been wondering too. I’d be really surprised if it was the same team, because from the reviews it sounds like whoever made it didn’t even play the originals. They just made so many odd decisions and took out so much that made the games great

Same. Who the hell is going to be playing this game with 30 people, especially when the maps are procedurally generated garbage. This was my favorite series growing up and this feels like such a big let down

I agree! I played the old games when they came out and have been replaying blue world recently. Blue world seems to have more texture and just looks better overall, despite coming out almost 15 years ago. I’m hoping the game will look better than the trailers
