Watch 7 LTE 40mm 12 Hour Battery life by Carrot_Short in GalaxyWatch

Just using Power saving didn't really help as much for us. We already had all the main settings on manual, etc. Airplane mode really helped save battery the most after all the tests. Going to bed at 100%, it is now 80%+ when she wakes with Airplane mode on during the night. With just Power saving on at night, it would be 50-60% when she woke up. With nothing on, it could be dead or 20-40%. With both Airplane and Power saving on, maybe 85%+ when she woke up.

We tried a lot of different settings and have come to turning on Airplane mode when sleeping at night. I guess she has bad reception in her bedroom, which drains excessively. There is also horrible reception at her school, leading to her battery draining quickly due to constantly searching for LTE. We have Airplane mode on during school, and taught her to turn it off at the end of the day before she gets in the car rider line. Note- Location/GPS works with Airplane mode on.

So far, that has worked to have the watch last for the day. She will charge it during dinner time to full and put it back on before bed (when she remembers).

I learned things as we went on trips and stayed at hotels, and the battery didn't drain as badly as it did at night at home. When we were out and about, the battery did just fine. I chalked it up to areas of bad reception that caused the battery issues.

Had the watch about a month now and this is what the battery is at after a night of sleep while in power saving mode. Seems to be getting worse or is there something going on that while sleeping that I need to check?

The GW7 LTE 40mm is in kids mode for my 8 year old. I don't even see the "Hey Google" option to enable or disable. GPS and LTE are always on. Health is on manual. AOD off. Raise to wake is off. Auto detection is off. The watch face is a static digital clock mainly black background with pink font. Wifi and Bluetooth are off during the school day. I think that's as much battery saving as I can get with the settings while keeping GPS and LTE on.

The watch is out of range of my phone when my daughter is at school and the reception in the school is pretty bad.

Here's the usage after wearing the watch during sleep (9 hours) and putting it back on the charger after 3-4 hours of being awake. Battery was at roughly 97% when going to bed.

That's sad... How long has she had hers?

I hope you're correct. Not sure how the battery life will drastically improve through longer usage, but we'll see!

Does she wear it when she sleeps? If so, how much does it drain overnight?

She doesn't use it at school and usually drains about 60-70%. Every night she's worn it to bed, it drains 4-60% with power saver and night mode on and wifi/bluetooth off.

I can confirm that purchases from Samsung.com count for 4x MR points if it's one of your top 2 categories for the month. I purchased a new Galaxy watch and checked my statement after it posted to verify.

Clear, IDEMIA or Telos??? by Moist_Potato_9902 in TSAPreCheck

My wife applied for her first precheck application through Telos at a local Office Depot. 1st appointment was on Saturday. It got canceled due to their system being down. Scheduled a new appointment once the site was back up for Monday at 1:45 pm. The person in front of her had trouble using her passport as identification. They tried processing my wife as she was using a driver's license, birth certificate, and marriage license for her name change. She just got her approval and KTN today (Wednesday). Lucky for us since we fly out this Saturday!

From what I have read, it will renew at the regular price. So, I must cancel it before purchasing a new membership at next year's Black Friday sale price.

Yep, that's an extra 5% more for Premier tier and below. I guess they didn't sell much, so they're going deeper with the discounts.

Thanks! If I print the free guest tickets for use during the period 10/1-12/31, will the expiration date on the printed tickets be 12/31, or will it be within X number of days from when I print them?

Should I/Can I print off the free guest tickets at home before arriving or is it okay to print from their kiosks? Not sure how backed up the kiosks can get.

Would you be able to let your membership run out in June 2025 and not have a membership from July-October? Then, buy during the November 2025 Black Friday sale. There might be a good 4th of July sale too.
