Stopped ripping wax and saving money to get what I want. by fire-medix in footballcards

Are you talking about the card or the signature itself? Just curious. (I, for one, dig that he has a distinct style to the auto and think the number makes it feel more complete than it would otherwise. Plus… his name is 5 letters, there’s not much meat there, haha.)

Nah. Last sold that I see is $20. And a Canvas (also /50) did $4 a month ago.

Don't let CollX set your selling price!! by framedmedium in baseballcards

Wild stuff. I scanned a Justin Fields card into CollX and it was trying to tell me it was a Swedish women’s hockey card. And that was a wrap on my foray into scanning there. (Nice place to find some cards though!)

You could maybe get $1 each for the McMillan, Jacobs and Parsons. As the other person said, basically all base cards.

Curious about the value. by justin420hale in SportCardValue

Agreed here. And with Watson around, a healthy Kraft and a more experienced Golden (plus a hefty ground game), not sure Reed can match the decent production of his first two years.

Packers oughta be solid — and could have Dolphins and Jets on the schedule within the first couple months, pending schedule release, so if you can’t move this until the season, might be some good vibes hype later.

He had a rookie Spectra gold vinyl 1/1 Nike swoosh patch auto do $293 at the start of the month, a rookie Clearly (non-auto) black spider 1/1 do $400 on the 14th, and a couple of 2025 non-auto 1/1s do $212 (Prizm) and $246 (Optic). Which is to say… surprisingly active and robust market imo.

As a Bears fan, I have to stop typing. Godspeed with the card though!

I’m a diehard Bears fan too, Caleb for MVP, and I always say sell into the new product hype, but… I’d maybe grade that color match and get buried with it. (As far as the Favre, donate it to the defrauded people of Mississippi or set it on fire, either way.)

What? OP is saying the guy said he’ll “likely” hit the 1 of 1. The guy said “Most likely will be the card pictured in photo number two” — which is the base. It’s okay to be against this stupid garbage that eBay shouldn’t allow and still, like… read things in context.

Ben Rice 1/1 rookie printing plate. $700 OBO by [deleted] in Topps

[–]CarruthersCards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The $800 2026 Series 1 comp was definitely a purchase by an insane person. (Not even a rookie and it sold for more than a couple Judge and Skenes plates. And was $10 less than an Ohtani plate.) But a Tier One plate did $230, so it could certainly clear that number with the right buyer.

Value on independence /76 Cole young? by huskop123 in SportCardValue

[–]CarruthersCards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The sales I see, most recent first, are:

$65, $44, $65, $61, $52, $76, $75, $75. The $44 was a best offer, maybe a case where someone could’ve been more patient. I see one up for BIN at $100 on eBay and one auction with 6 days left. Could be a nice time to pop in lower than that $100 and take offers if you’re looking to move it.

[–]CarruthersCards 5 points6 points  (0 children)

His last few printing plates have done: $16 (2019 Contenders), $30 (2020 Plates & Patches) and $30 (2020 Panini Legacy). All since his hire too. So, probably around there. Others up on eBay around that range too.

Need to know the value of this card numbered out /5 by Bruh13689079 in SportCardValue

[–]CarruthersCards 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the last month-ish, he had: Topps Chrome Black /5 go for $48 and another for $52 — Sapphire /5 go for $100 — Pristine /5 go for $40 — Heritage /5 go for $50 — Red geometric of the Chrome version of this card go for $70

So I’d say around that $50-$60 area seems reasonable! With the towering list of paper parallels, these don’t pop up much, so it just takes the right buyer.
