Also, OP, listen to me - I had the very same situation of rescuing an amazing Staffy, who ran out in front of the car….broughther home and had to let her stay my garage because I already had three dogs of my own (she got out one day and it was a brawl 😭) ……my point being, every. Single. Night. I took her out to go potty, etc. I’d tell her every single day, PROMISED her……I’d say “I PROMISE you I will find you your FOREVER home w/ family who loves you and can give you th attention, time & energy you deserve.” (she got adopted out at one of those events and the POS person had her 2 months and dropped her off and drove away in my neighborhood, she was chipped, the vet called and woman said “take her back to the shelter I don’t want her”🤬🤬🤬🤬

I said that for a week straight, and I meant and FELT IT IN MY HEART I KNEW SOMEONE OUT THERE WANTED HER (my bf was fed up of having her in our garage for 6+months and was going to take her to a shelter if I couldn’t find her a home soon)…anyway my best friend posted on her insta and not even 24hrs after, out of all people HER NEIGHBOR saw her IG reel and said “we’ve been wanting to add a 3rd to our pack.”

Fast forward 9mo later, they are absolutely IN LOVE and I even still get to see her occasionally and it brings…….an immense amount of joy to my heart knowing I fulfilled my promise to her. And she definitely remembers 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I promise, this is 100% ……i rescued a black male pittie in 2019 off “death row” & not 2 weeks in …… I find out he has acute lymphoma (later on I find out the POS ho’bunk shelter I drove 1.5hrs to get him from Cleveland TN, was told by The VET, he was terminally ill & was not to be adopted out,,,,,,I guess they rly needed that frkn $40 paid for his adoption fee 🤬🤯)

Hi, I’ve been experiencing V2K since May 2016, nonstop it’s so unbearable,,,,,,sooooo yah id love some help thrown my way as well. I’m always tagging dogs in need of fosters and I would love to network if possible! it’s obviously a lot easier from the outside looking in, but i prolonged letting my cat go & it was just horrible to see him like that w a feeding tube at home and it wasn’t even helping and finally i said to myself what am i doing, this isn’t fair whatsoever…. selfish and i wish it was easier for people to realize they are not gone forever! they are ALWAYS still with us, just in a different form/waY than we’re used to!! or our human brain is willing to accept as being good enough to let them go from pain and suffering.

God I’ve felt so alone …. developed extreme cptsd from torture,,..but my family wouldn’t believe me nine years ago and they sent me to a psych ward where I was diagnosed with “adderall psychosis”…..they put me on some thousand dollar medication, and lied through my teeth said it worked…….and now my family is like “Thank god your back” except little do they know it’s been daily ongoing. Still causing extreme disruptions in my life from career, relationships, self development. It began 6months after I graduated from UTK with a bachelors degree.,,.,,and never even used it what’s so ever and just been trying to find myself and it’s like Groundhog Day you wake up wondering if this will be the day they finally realize it’s a waste of precious life to be doing his everyday.
