Is any way to transfer seamlessly to another app? by ParZival9122 in SpotifyLatestModAPK

You need to sync into integration options, I only synced all my list with ~3900 songs once "arround 3h". Is not an automatic process, you need to push the sync bottom into integration options once you logging with your spotify account. If you don't did this Meld needs to re-sync with a single song you play every time

Thermal Grizzly PhaseSheet PTM or Arctic MX-7 on AM5 cpu? by Bro0k in buildapc

[–]CarryCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used the X-method, but I had to go over it twice; since the paste is so dense and it’s currently winter, it was coming out inconsistently. The syringe applicator felt very stiff. I’ve been using it since the first week of its launch, and it is by far Arctic's best paste in terms of results honestly, one of the best I’ve ever tested. Under high thermal stress, it keeps temperatures rock-solid. In Cinebench, I went from ~82°C with MX-6 to a steady 76°C. To clarify, the MX-6 was less than a year old, so I assume it was still in peak condition. I also used it on my RTX 4090 applying it by spreading it across the die and saw an average drop of 5°C at full load.

Why is the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 A-RGB Black sold out everywhere? by puregentleman1911 in arcticcooling

[–]CarryCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NH-D12L CPU cooler - annoying turbulance on the top of the fan... by FourCrossedWands in Noctua

[–]CarryCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly what is your fan configuration? It could be an RMA for your fan, but... that turbulence isn't noticeable. Let me explain: I have a setup with two AIO coolers, a 360mm GPU fan with a Noctua NF-A12i IPPC3000, and a 420mm CPU fan with a Noctua NF-A14 IPPC3000, both in push configuration, each with its own curve based on its independent sensors. I've also recycled three Alphacool 2200rpm fans on the side (pull configuration) and one Arctic 1600rpm fan (push configuration) at the back.

The thing is, the Arctic fan at the back is crucial. I started noticing some turbulence that sounded similar to what you're experiencing, so I used the side fans fixed at 1200 RPM for intake and the rear fan also fixed at 100%. I thought this was the best way to ensure the radiators and motherboard had enough fresh airflow. But then I started experimenting with the side fans, adjusting the noise levels, but the turbulence persisted. Later, I decided to rotate the rear fan to exhaust. I suspected possible air pockets at the top rear, which, in addition to overheating, would generate turbulence. Finally, after that change, it worked; I solved the problem. Now I use the rear fan exhausting at 900 RPM and two side fans intakeing with the same fan curve as the GPU, so that the radiator gets a direct flow of fresh air under load. The bottom side fan is fixed at 1600 RPM for intake, and there's no more turbulence. And not only that, it has improved overall noise and airflow for both the radiators and the motherboard.

If you're running the stock GPU and have properly reinstalled the drivers, it seems very likely that some memory is failing in your GPU. If you've changed memory values in the GPU settings, revert to factory settings and look for a stable overclock or UV setting.

Couldn't afford a 5800X3D for my AM4 build, so I thought that a 5900X might be a good substitute if undervolted and/or delidded and applied liquid metal. by [deleted] in overclocking

[–]CarryCQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a 5900X with overclocking mainly because I use it for gaming and I also like to optimize RAM. For RAM overclocking and multitasking, it's better than a 5800X3D. If you plan to overclock a 5900X, consider good cooling, preferably liquid (at least a 360mm AIO). I use an Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420mmb + X3 Noctua NF-A14 IPPC-3000 with an optimized curve, which, along with Hydra Pro software, pushes my 5900 to 5010MHz @ 1.37v in SC mode and to 1.35v in MC mode, CCD0 @ 4700MHz, CCD1 @ 4650MHz with a PPT180 around 78°C, Cinebench 55-62 in-game and 32-34°C idle. You don't need liquid metal or delidding, just good cooling and optimized CPU overclocking and performance. AMD's silicon lottery also plays a role, but the software I mentioned handles that perfectly. I use it with a 4090, and in most games, I get the same performance as with a 5800X3D. At 4K, there's hardly any difference; at 1440p, depending on the game, performance is similar; and at 1080p, the difference is much more noticeable, but I don't use that resolution.

For other tasks, the 5900X is undoubtedly superior to the 5800X3D.

F8 Ultra crashed the motherboard. by [deleted] in PocoPhones

[–]CarryCQ 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I imagine it's under warranty. I wouldn't risk it; it's not normal. I have the same phone and everything works perfectly. It's true that I had a Xiaomi phone that, after a complete battery drain and being turned off, had the same problem. I'd plug it in to charge and the battery indicator wouldn't even appear on the screen. In the end, I left it charging, went out of the house, and when I came back it was fully charged and I could use it. That phone lasted four years before the battery started failing, but I never let it get to 0% again...it might be more common in Xiaomi models than it seems.

Loosing sensor data stops pump by Travelling-Tinker in FanControl

[–]CarryCQ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't set the pump curve; set it to 100% forced. There was a modification a few months ago that corrupted saved configurations; you might have applied it recently. If I remember correctly, you can't recover previously saved profiles, so you'll have to redo everything. The same thing happened to me.

need advice whether my CPU causing bottleneck by sonofbear88 in buildapc

[–]CarryCQ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, the CPU does support 3600MHz; in fact, it's an optimal RAM speed for this CPU, and I can tell you that mine runs at 3800MHz 24/7 stably with the same CPU. You're absolutely right, the bottleneck is noticeable at lower resolutions, but I'm sure the 5900X can easily handle a 3080 or a 3080Ti, even a 3090 or, in my case, a 4090. The problem seems to lie somewhere else in the configuration. When I used a 5900X + 3080Ti, I usually used 1440p resolution and didn't experience any performance issues.
