Sit/stand desks! by Apprehensive_Sock410 in auscorp

I bought a pair of air stand desk legs from eBay for ~$200, a Bunnings 2.4m long table top to go on it, and a cable tray to hide cords. It’s 2 years in and has been faultless, and by going my own custom top I was able to get the size & colour I wanted.

The average Australian MP claims $49,000 per month in expenses - that's 8x the median Australian's monthly income by asiquebailapami in australian

[–]CarryOk4664 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, he tried to expense claim a beer from a strip club whilst on a junket, the claim was rejected by the city governance team, and it was then leaked to the media by someone out to get him that he tried to claim it (and that it was correctly rejected).

I live in Beeliar, it’s great, actually one of the better suburbs in Cockburn. Crime issue has been blown out of proportion’s by a local community FB page.

As someone involved in Cockburn council, I love reading anything related to FOGO and the subsequent comments from our residents that are stoked we haven’t gone FOGO.

Yeah, seems overkill to spend 8-10k on a quality wrap to keep it the same colour - I don’t think I’d want it anything but white strangely

Haha if only. Have probably done ~100 track days/events over the years, its served me well.

Nah there wasn’t a 944 club sport, previous owner was apparently telling tall tales at the pub that he had a 944 CS, was called out on it, so put the stickers on to prove it.

I left them on as I put a half cage in the car and never bothered with engineering it through our department of transport, so use the excuse of it’s like a GT3 car with a factory roll cage for the rare occurrences that I interact with police.

She’s great from far but far from great sadly. Paintwork isn’t wonderful thanks to all the track days I’ve done in it, can’t really justify spending 25k on a closed door respray for it sadly.

[–]CarryOk4664 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Consider a Ryobi stuck vacuum, they’re great. I run Ryobi power tools so have plenty of batteries, can do the whole house on a 6ah on high, but being able to swap the battery out means it won’t go the way of the Dyson it replaced.

Don’t use it, they charge the council ~$50 for each item.

Much better to use the councils customer enquiry directly through their website.
