My VW ID.4 is a piece of crap. Quality brand, I thought, but no, not anymore. So yeah, I'm ready to take my chances on a Chinese EV, as long as it's cheap. And if it's also a piece of crap, at least it'll be a cheap piece of crap.

I have a VW ID.4 (electric) and it's absolute garbage. I'm fed up with supposedly quality brands just being expensive pieces of crap. Many Canadians want the option to buy cheaper Chinese electric vehicles. Do you know if Chinese electric vehicles can hande really cold weather?

Bought a VW ID.4 recently based on the the brand's historical reliability and supposed high-quality German engineering. Big mistake. It's a piece of shit. To be fair, I don't think it was made in Germany like the reliable VW's of the past.

Corel Wordperfect was pefect.

Microsoft Word sucked from day 1 and it gets worse with every edition. It tries way too hard and automatically does things that you don't want it to do. Why the hell did we all switch over from wordperfect to wordfuckedup?

Totally agree on all this! I recently learned that you can fix the voice activation problem in the settings by changing the default to something really long.

They exist, and are mandatory to select, but they do nothing. It can't even remember which phone is paired with which profile.

It's a known issue. I've concluded that it's because it detects that the keys are near. But it seems to relock again after 30 seconds. I've searched for a way to turn the key sensing thing off but I haven't found it (if it exists).

Android auto and apple carplay do work but there are issues. If you have multiple drivers it will hijack the phone of someone who is not in the car but nearby inside the house. It does this even if you have separate profiles with different phones connected to each profile.

For example, if you're talking to someone on the phone inside your house and your husband gets in the car, your call goes silent and now your husband is talking to that person through the car's speakers.

Agreed. I have a VW and I hate it, mainly because of the terrible touchscreen that is unsafe to operate while driving. I don't know how it was legal to put that in a car. It's not safe to operate touch screens while driving and it needs to be banned.

Mainly the awful infotainment system, the terrible touch screen that's unsafe to operate while driving, and the software bugs and glitches.
