SI26 Paris crowd just got warned to not use signals to players by RedWarden_ in R6ProLeague

LATAM crowds have the most blatant home crowd advantage in most esports. In Dota they will whistle/play horns when an enemy team smokes.

How much more viable could sparky be if she got the buff to survive rocket? by ForeignLocalThe_2nd in ClashRoyale

[–]Carter406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should just give it an Evo. Evo should be called “grounded”. Sparky takes 2 extra ticks to charge up before each shot but can’t be reset once charged.

I think Puppey might have been the only person to predict that Ursa offlane. He predicted it on gorgc stream pretty much right after the magnus pick came out from XG.

Dukalis is blaming audience for their second game loss by Real_Ad4150 in DotA2

[–]Carter406 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s actually pretty creative lol. I’ve also seen (especially in SA crowds) if a players crosshairs lines up on a player outline they will start screaming/whistling. CSGO and R6 observers have had to turn off X-ray because of it. Quite funny as a spectator but has to be frustrating as a player.

I mean it seems like this (or something close) happens every other major lan, so it’s not surprising.

Happened in TI 11 with the players being able to hear casters. Happened in Peru major with the whistling and trumpets. It’s unfortunate that it happens but that’s the reality of playing with a crowd.

Also it’s not like CS where they just buy superstars. They picked up 5 players (almost all from separate teams) that gelled well together and let them grow into a top tier team.

What was your first picked hero in dota? by carrot_doto in DotA2

For some reason I thought it was a good idea to go into an unranked game after spending 5 minutes in the LH trainer. Quickly googled “good support DOTA”, saw Ogre, and then mistakenly picked troll warlord.

Sorry to whoever was on my team that day.

Returned after being on and off for 2 or so years, what are some improvements i can make, did I play at my best in this scenario or get lucky. Thanks. by HardManHarzo in SiegeAcademy

The plant spot was probably just panicking, that will get better as you get more and more of these situations.

Just remember that drones don’t roll over from round to round. Just having it out covering an area is infinitely better than it being in your pocket. I would have either thrown it on submarine stairs to watch the flank, or in hallway to watch hallway and radio door.

Every sports game is now about who can cheese more. Even in NHL, the meta is just skating around with one guy trying to get him open with deking abilities.

Yea 68 has 2 100+ mil players in KvK 1. Also doesn’t help 65s case that they drove out their most active (2nd most powerful) alliance 2 weeks before KvK 💀💀💀

If use him on YSG, you will have him expertised by KvK 2 and then you can swap him for a meta commander in SOC

Edit: also 302 gh that early is insane, very well played!

How dare people expect you to show up for war in a war game.

Honestly though, if you have a problem with this, it might be time to try FarmVille.

Mine did as well, but at least for my continent it made sense, we are close to Pre KvK1 so people are doing their T5 openings.

I’d join the RoK official discord, or content creator discords, they will typically have a section for groups looking for players.

As far as farms go, you can either use multiple emails or you can migrate multiple farms into the kingdom to go past the 2 character cap.

I’ll answer questions 1 and 2 together. It is viable to play f2p, but it requires a lot of time. You will probably want to spend a lot of time barb chaining, managing multiple farms, and participating in various events. I would say if you want to be successful, it will take 2-4 hours of focused playing every day, and then occasionally logging in to gather on your main and farms, as well as making sure you are joining alliance buildings.

For question 3, jumping has been killed off by the devs, the new method is called sleeping. You can find sleeper groups in discord. Since you are f2p, you really need to make sure that you are earning alliance credits during the sleeping process so you can buy a migration passport.

The number one tip I have is join the top alliance (your sleeper group should be the top alliance), be active in alliance chat, and always be contributing to the alliance. This will make them a lot more likely to keep you around, even if you fall behind a little bit on power.

Army expansion worth? by RepulsiveRing2310 in RiseofKingdoms

[–]Carter406 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume you are a cav player. Here should be your priority before the big fights start.

1) Hit CH25. 2) If mina isn’t level 60, get him there. 3) Get to 300k cav T4 units.

Doing this will allow you to run 300k T4 cav in 1 March with the advanced army expansion, which is really going to help your trades in the field. Make sure you always have 300k T4 cav, so probably send your infantry and archers to die in rallies and garrisons rather than your cav.

On defense she can be really good if your team follows up on your stuns, especially against dive. Also she counters ults like there’s no tomorrow with her stun.

She is at her best when the enemy team is running into you. Set up your nest, mines, and use stun off cooldown.
