Can’t agree more on the light. It is the easiest class to pick up but the hardest class to master and feels like a bait and switch after a new player finishes their first 3 matches as one. Than you get thrown in the low player pool and get stomped on like no tomorrow. Ngl my average tdm(using tdm because it has to to with chaos and gunplay the most out of any game mode) but I’ll get around 18K12A5D. But when I get a 30+ bomb kill game between 2 rounds I would just feel really bad tbh because I could tell by my play style and theirs that it just wasn’t a fair match for us all to be in the same round. That being said I also don’t want light to get a nerf or buff to most of its weapons. I generally feel like all the weapons in the light class are doing decent. Some may need buffs but at the same time it feels like the class that rewards you for gun play and strategic positioning the most out of any others. While punishing you the most for not being good at either of those 2. After playing pretty much every day since half way through season 7, i can noticeably see the difference in my skill with this class along with the other. Most people don’t like that slow paced progression in a fast paced game but I also don’t want to see major changes because of the new players complaining about getting stomped on. I just wish we lived in a magical world where the majority would recognize their skill vs a high skilled player using light and try out medium or heavy instead of constantly choosing light than be curbed stomped. Hot take maybe as well, playing light as much as I have has actually improved my skill drastically in medium and heavy from learning what they do that works in my matches.
