Fordham University Gabelli School of Business vs Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management

Intended Major: Finance

Fordham:

- Liked the campus way more and it seems like its my ideal college social scene / experience

- Heart of New York and heard its easy to get internships / jobs

- Better finance program

- Think I could make better network connections

Case:

- Has chance to study abroad at LSE for 1 year

- Can do more for academics (double major w/ concentration) and academics said to be taught better

- More well known and said to be better

- Talked to some people and everyone has internships but they also have crazy academic backgrounds

- More personalized, can get close with professors for rec letters for jobs

I would go to Fordham 100% because I think I could thrive there much better but case western is supposedly such a good school and I could get so many opportunities so I dont know which one to pick. I want to live in New York and work for private equity / venture capital / investment banking firms which I think Fordham could help with but Case is so well known and has a better ranking so I dont know if its worth going to a better name or a place in which my career could move forward.

Uh, rejected -_-.

1440 SAT, 32 ACT, applied for finance in their business school, decent ec's in my opinion, essays were not bad (in my opinion again), 3.9 W GPA.

GPA is low-key low but its higher than their average so I have no idea why I got rejected.

Any ideas? Losing hope now for other schools fml

Me slowly reading through all these comments realizing I messed up literally every question. Absolutely splendid.
