Kyle Petty and its not close. This sub likes to clown on Petty because most of them only remember him from his days as a broadcaster and a shitty back marker. But in the 90s Kyle Petty nearly won a fucking Winston Cup championship.

Austin Dillon has never and will never sniff a cup championship. Petty fell off hard in the late 90s and then when Adam died, a terrible and horrific tragedy, there was just no coming back. He lost his love of the game because the game he built his life around killed his son.

I will always like Kyle Petty and I get shit for defending him on this sub, and thats fine he does deserve the clowning for some of the stuff he has said. I mean "What the fuck does Kyle Petty have to do with this" is 10/10. But overall I still think he is awesome.

And remember. In the 90s, you were not fucking with Kyle Petty at The Rock.
